Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Imago Season is a true narrative roleplaying experience. Explore an alien city inhabited by human-insect hybrids. Roll dice, join a revolution, become a mutant yourself. What are you willing to do in order to find your truth? The choices are yours, but so are the consequences.
You wake up in a cold cave. Something has gone wrong. In the place where you expected to find your memories, only a splitting headache is found, as if someone had lodged a brick in the back of your skull. To make matters worse, after escaping you find yourself at the center of a conspiracy, watched by the mutiple, judgmental eyes of insect-people that you do not recognise. Search for your lost memories and elucidate what is your place in all this. If possible, do it before open war breaks out in the City. Good luck.
Your character's skills are the way you interact with the world and its denizens. Perhaps you are an expert trickster, able to get anyone to share their secrets with you. Or maybe you prefer to threaten with physical violence to get someone to talk. The choice is yours.
Dice rolls are informed by your past choices. Use your skills to impress, coax, haggle, extort and, hopefully, solve this mysterious situation that you have found yourself in.
In a city inhabited by mutants, you have to keep up. Modify your character with ant feelers, dragonfly wings or crab claws to upgrade your skills and achieve your goals.
Excentric worldbuilding makes the City of Imago Season into a living, breathing character in itself. Discover the stories of a planet where people left their humanity behind to become something new.
First person exploration in a small open world. Break into someone's home, be invited to a clandestine meeting, attend a ball at the palace and end up jailed at the police station. Leave no stone unturned in your adventures in the City.
The City's denizens have their own problems. You never know where you will find an unexpected ally or who is hiding a dark past from their own friends. You decide if and how you help (or take advantage of) the characters that you will meet along the search for your own memories.
Imago Season has no bespoke combat mechanics, but that does not mean you are safe. Multiple factions wage a secret war for control of the City, and they will try to win you over if your prove to be useful. Who will you choose to help, when your own past threatens to reveal a deathly trap?
Imago Season is a pleasant little narrative heavy RPG.
You play an amnesiac stranger wandering an equally strange city that hides deep world building in every dialogue tree. You'll be faced with small moral dilemmas for which there are no objectively right answers, only what you feel is best in your heart. Your choices will have lasting effects on the people of this city, so you need to consider the weight of your actions, and carry it. Occasionally you need to make skill checks to progress. While some can only be attempted once, others, if you fail, will require you to increase the associated skill point in order to try again. While playing, it's hard to shake the shadow cast by Disco Elysium, which seems like a core inspiration, and those are big shoes to fill. That said, the game is appropriately complex and well executed at this scope, and has plenty of its own identity to enjoy. The short run time is a huge strength. Usually these choices matter type games are so long that by the end you're exhausted, and the idea of going back to make a few different choices, but largely playing the same game, doesn't' sound fun, but Imago Season doesn't suffer that. One run took me about 3-4 hours, and 100%ing the game took about 3 runs spanning nearly 9ish hours. I really enjoyed the writing, on both a micro scale, the tone of narration and dialogue, and a macro scale, the world building and lore. The music is also very pleasant. Doing a good job of enhancing the vibes of each scene.
All in all
It's very easy to recommend this to anyone who enjoys exploring, making impactful choices, and doesn't mind a text heavy game.

The writing and world-building of this game is incredible! The story of this game was highly intellectual and niche while still being accessible and enjoyable. I loved the dice mechanic of "Success" and "Failure" and enjoyed seeing your body transform as you leveled up your skill trees. The tone of the game is serious and yet very well-balanced with funny quips, dialogue options, and commentary on those dialogue options. I really enjoyed this game and sincerely look forward to what the developer makes next!
Really refreshing and unique experience . Give it a try!
I already tried out the demo of this game before it's full version was realeased and couldn't wait for the day in which it's completely published (wishlisted it right away). This game offers multiple endings and therefore my total amount of game-time (5- till 6 hours) counts only as one playthrough. Loved the 3D adventure-game style, the strange world here, even that it's possible to mutate as well (for one achievement you should try to avoid mutations for the whole game) and I must say that the developer of this game's quite a talented author! So yes I can absolutely recommend this game and Linux users are going to be happy to read, that this game works perfectly fine without any kind of proton-emulator!
Creative, charming, and had something to say without being *about* the fact that it had something to say. Understands the strengths of the Disco Elysium style of gameplay and executes it perfectly to build character and tone. Definitely a game that's going to stick with me!
I appreciate that putting up with something is an actual skill in this game. Also being a bug mutant was cool.
It's quite good! I appreciated the addition of a little pop-up telling you how you unlocked a particular dialogue option - it feels like a genuine innovation for the genre.
I really liked this game. Clearly inspired by Disco Elysium (dialogue-based mystery where you play as an amnesiac with history in the area that they don't know about) but first person with lots of insects. You're given a variety of ways to resolve different situations you're faced with such as bluffing, aggression, bribery, distraction, etc. The Story/Mystery takes about ~7-8ish hours and I'm pretty confident I did mostly everything before finishing other than finding one last diary page. It was a good story with satisfying conclusions that change based on your decisions. There are some interesting philosophical questions throughout the game that aren't overly ham fisted. A few tips that I wish I had known or took a bit to figure out: - You learn about something called Morphism pretty quickly. What wasn't explained (or maybe I missed the explanation) is that morphism is how you upgrade your stats. I had no idea until I ran into an NPC that explained it. - To get Morphisms, you either find a Morphism chip on the ground or exchange 5 credits (also found on the ground or guilted from NPCs you help via the "Buying your way in" skill) for a Morphism chip. - It's not hard to max your stats. I maxed out the last stat maybe two hours before the game ended and had an excess of 2 or 3 Morphism chips I couldn't spend because I used credits. For just $10, it's a solid deal if you like this style of game. - Don't worry about failing checks, many of them can be repeated after you learn new information or level your skills and the ones that can't be say so in big red letters
/sticker G-man
