Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 2 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Really good Parkour game with cool mechanics like platforms that make you jump higher, change your gravity or make you dash forward, you can also jump off of walls, climb ladders & grab onto certain ledges with bars on them. The different areas are very pleasing to look at especially if you enjoy Frutiger aesthetics, I kept taking screenshots thoughout my Playthrough & ended up with more than a 100. There are collectible Plushies & Posters hidden throughout that you can pick up as you progress as well as a lot of small details & references to things like Minecraft, Portal & TempleOS for example. Two game modes are available, one where you climb the tower & one that takes place above the clouds, with two difficulties each, Easy gives you checkpoints you can reset back to as well as visual clues, while Hard removes both, so you have to Parkour your way back if you fall, which is going to happen a lot since some jumps can be really tricky, especially if your arm is already tired from hours of repeatedly pressing Shift to run. If you're a completionist, note that the achievements "Sub 15" & probably "Sub 30" as well are impossible to obtain legitimately as far as I know, unless a skip allowing you to bypass large portions of the game in Hard mode is found later on. Overall I still had a really good time playing this, the good points heavily outweigh the few flaws the game has at the moment so it definitely is worth the price, especially if it's on sale. 8.5/10

Intro
Ikarus is a fun game for both average gamers and pros of the genre. Personally I don't think that the "casual" difficulty is as "casual" as it suggests. It's fun and nice, but it has one major problem which I have to point out
The problem - Unreal Engine 5's optimization issue
At certain points of the game, my fairly new gaming PC was screaming like Jet fighter engine despite the game running on high graphics instead of ultra. The game went from 60+ FPS to -20 FPS just so that the PC would cool down from UN5 bad optimization. I even set the graphics to their lowest settings just to keep enjoying the game, but to no avail :/ That just sucks, because for the price you can get it on a discount, it's quite nice.
Nitpicks
Now for the nitpicks that grind my gears
These annoying small platforms.
This is the kind of game AVGN would review and say how annoying these platforms are for demanding the player to be exactly precise with their jumps and all that $h1t. Sure you can get used to them somewhat and it's not like they're all over the game, but when you come across a section that requires precise timing to jump on some wall, and then wall bounce to a mattress that you must be on the edge of that it to reach a ledge or a ladder to grab on - it's like "bro, I figured you puzzle, how are you demanding this high level of precision? it's not like the casual gamer will do it under 10 minutes, yea know" Just change the naming of the difficulty from "casual" to "normal" - that way it will match the game's general difficulty for any other player that doesn't take the harder difficulty.
Some useless lore
This whole shtick with the tower and the many climbers that died on the way, writing their final goodbye in a letter is meh. Also, how do you get away from putting assets from other games like Portal and Minecraft is beyond my understanding, but it's like.... "okay, what's the point of it" ?
The good
In all honestly, the game ain't bad, it's just that UE5 really hurts the fun of the game and your PC turns to a fighter jet. The controls are nice, and the game's aesthetics is that 2000s kind of vibes with a little bit of Mirror's Edge futuristic dystopian vibes. When you get into the groove of the game and try to "speedrun" some sections, it can be really fun.
P.S
The clouds level are fun, the last section of the main game's level ... is straight up annoying.
If you're like me, you bought this because you can't get enough Mirror's Edge and need another fix. This plays a bit differently but largely maintains the vibes, particularly in the art design and music. Wall runs and slides have been replaced by environmental modifiers like springboards and low gravity jumps. There are two stages to conquer here. The tower level is a bit more of a maze or puzzle that often requires you to slow down and analyze your route to advance. The cloud level is more about flow state and forward momentum and is definitely my preferred of the two. The vibes are immaculate and it reminds me more of ME1's dlc courses. I didn't want it to end! The game is short but has a price tag to match. All in all it's a nice, challenging little excursion for people who can't get enough first person platforming. Vanja has proven their chops with this game and I eagerly await their next one, Panline.
frutiger aero rage parkour sim yet to beat it supa coo
Very cool game, a bit laggy sometimes to me, but find a workaround with lossless scaling and a dedicated gpu for it. Now game is 100% enjoyable on oled monitor
Stunning, incredibly satisfying. Cannot wait for Panline.
