Battles are quick, but heat and positioning nuance keep the tactics sharp and satisfying.
Overall a good and well polished game. It took a bit to get into and I almost gave up after 2 hours but I gave it one more try and am loving it now. I think part of the turning point was realizing how the heat mechanic worked so I could really use it to the full. If you don't really understand it, it can be punishing as its core to powering up your mechs but also can really cause them to be damaged. I like that there is more strategy and variation needed based on the different mission types - they do all feel different. I wish there was a bit more content and variety in the game though. That is the only negative I have. There are 4 types of missions but like I said they all feel distinct and it would be hard to add more while keeping them distinct but there are only 3 base mechs to choose from and the weapons selection isn't very large. Its good for several hours of play, still a good deal and I would definitely recommend it but it just doesn't feel like it will have longevity to it for whatever reason.

Spark: The game is deeply mid. 6 out of 10. Playing AC6 got us hard back into the mood for mech games, tactical and real time shooty. It satisfies the mech itch, it's an incredibly casual and fun experience, but there could be a lot more customization for a rougelike. The Ascension/Difficult Modifiers you unlock after beating the game are uninspired. A turn limit makes the game feel strict. The space station/camp fires are lacking as they both double as stores and rest sites, but the inability to control when you upgrade your weapons feels too reliant on random number generation. The music is really good though. The art style of playstation mech warrior is nice, tho the hunter chassis is a bit meh looking. And again, not every game needs to be an indepth absurd difficulty curve, so it's a fun game if you're in the mech mood but you don't wanna stretch your brain to its limit. But the problem there is that things get boring pretty quickly. Giving it a 6 out of 10. A thumbs up, buy it on sale, or if you have the extra cash. If not, then just wait for that Lancer TTRPG video game or just play Into the Breach.
A simple rogue-like that’s similar to Into the Breach but significantly more forgiving. I think I experienced all the game had to offer in about 50 hours. Some of the achievements seem to be bugged, so don’t expect to 100% this one. It won’t blow your mind, but it’ll make a long flight pass quickly. I’d recommend picking it up on sale.
Fun game. In the style of Into the Breach. Kudos to the developers. The key to success is finding the right mix of primary and support weapons (and cores) for your team. I've played twelve hours and had great fun. A light, enjoyable, fun game.

Decent game. 6/10 As a Into The Breach player, this game is much easier. I finished the Final boss it in the first run. Although, the scenario of my victory is kinda funny. The boss kill my 1st mech, the mech explodes and kill the 2nd mech, the 2nd mech explodes and kill the 3rd mech and.... the 3rd mech explodes, finish the boss. This game is much less punishment, which make it maybe only 10% hard as Into The Breach. Destroy buildings only give you less money, and a bit of less HP regen after matches. Unlike ITB, destroy them will lead to a lose.

Ta bien
Fun little mech tactics game that feels part Into the Breach, part FTL without really being as intense as either one. Once I understood what the game was looking for, I plowed through a full run without any issues until the final map. Not particularly motivated to do more runs, but I enjoyed the one I did.
