Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to the head of the most monstrous industry !
You’ve just been promoted to CEO of a rather unusual factory: your workers are monsters, your machines are hungry for ore, and your currency of choice is called Monstercoins. With Elias, your ever-enthusiastic (and sarcastic) right-hand man, you’ll turn a pile of dusty scrap metal into an unshakable industrial empire.
Your mission ? Produce, optimize, and innovate… while surviving the unexpected.
You begin with a handful of underpaid monsters and one squeaky machine. But with a bit of flair (and a lot of Monstercoins), everything can change :
Recruit and train your monsters : each comes with their own strengths, moods, and productivity. It’s up to you to put them in the right role.
Build and upgrade your machines : every upgrade makes the factory rumble and multiplies your profits.
Automate your production chain : watch ores turn into ingots, then finished products—almost without lifting a finger.
Elias is with you from day one: he explains, he grumbles, he jokes… but he’s indispensable. The true memory of the company, he’ll teach you how to survive in this joyful industrial chaos.
Industry is never smooth sailing…
Positive events can boost your production or reveal unique opportunities.
But beware of breakdowns, sabotage, or price spikes that can throw your plans into disarray.
React quickly, adjust your choices, and turn every problem into an opportunity.
Thanks to R&D, your factory is constantly evolving :
Unlock brand-new machines and technologies.
Expand your production floor to host more and more lines.
Discover unique synergies to dominate the market.
Every product, every upgrade, every decision is paid for, and rewarded, with Monstercoins. Hoarding this currency isn’t just about profit : it’s a philosophy. The more your conveyors run, the more your empire sparkles.
Master the financial markets and use your influence to boost profits.
Complete delivery missions for prestigious clients to earn a rewarding bonus.
Your factory isn’t alone in the void :
Passersby roam the streets, bringing life to your industrial district.
A day/night cycle transforms the atmosphere and lights up the factory in new ways.
Zoom in and you’ll hear machines pounding in immersive 3D audio, even though the game is in 2D.
Even in 2D, your factory sounds like a living world :
The rumble of machines,
The clattering of conveyors,
The sighs of your monster workers…
Everything contributes to the immersion of a unique industrial universe.
A quirky industrial management game where your workers are monsters.
Machines to build, upgrade, and automate.
A system of positive and negative events that shake up your plans.
A complete R&D system to grow and diversify your factory.
A living, immersive world.
Playable solo or with friends.
And above all… tons of Monstercoins raining down!
Reviews
I like the game but i miss a money counter in my screen and windows that open should fit the screen if zoomed in,but im sure that will come in updates. Update: very fast reaction from developer, Thanks for the feedback ,Cant wait to see where you go with it
Promising little idle/clicker/incremental game. It's a bit rough around the edges but there is a lot of potential here. I had a small bug and posted on their Discord about it and they had it fixed the next day. Pretty cool and friendly devs and community. I'm looking forward to more content being added to the game.
🔥 Super fun and super promising! 🔥 Idle Tycoon: Manufacturing is honestly awesome. It’s got that perfect mix of chill idle gameplay and satisfying progression that keeps you coming back for more. You can already tell there’s a ton of potential here — and it’s only going to get better! The dev deserves a special shoutout — super friendly, active, and always listening to the community on Discord. It’s rare to see a developer this involved, and it really shows in how polished and enjoyable the game already is. If you like idle or tycoon games, this one’s a must-try. 100% recommend! 🙌
Idle Tycoon Manufacturing is one of the many lazy 2D number incrementer "games" on Steam, where the entire object is clicking to increase a number, sometimes buying upgrades that make the number go up faster. It's not really a game, it's a Skinner box for people who enjoy watching counters tick up. This one is a little different because some attempt was made to add some game like interaction to the clicker... namely you build a factory and workers to help with the clicking. That's the idea, anyway, the tutorial was bugged and I got softlocked and couldn't progress after the tutorial failed to register I'd completed one of the tasks. The reason why "solo developers" should never publish junk on Steam is because they don't bother hiring software testers. How does that make us feel as gamers when developers think so poorly of us they don't even bother getting their games properly tested? Oh yeah, and the developer wants YOUR money for untested games. Disgusting, isn't it? Well, at least this isn't an asset flip, but it is still garbage with a price tag. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. So we have the problem of pixelcrap "art", but it gets worse because not all of the game visuals are using consistent pixelcrap, nothing is pixel perfect. If there's one thing you could hope for when developers insult gamers with pixelcrap, it's retro authenticity, and they failed at that. This is just ugly. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 6 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Let's talk about price and the value this represents for us gamers. Should you buy this game? Is it among the best the Steam catalogue has to offer? Idle Tycoon Manufacturing has the farcical price of $10 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. For comparison, the $10 asking price for this game could get you games like "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", "Project Zomboid" or "Far Cry 5". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this. No pixelcrap is worth $10. If unqualified amateur developers want to get paid the same kind of money as real developers, they should at least learn to do computer graphics properly. You deserve better than this.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Took a little bit of time to understand how the game works, and felt slightly slow at first, but once you get an understanding of core elements and your machine automation set up, it's very fun! For the low price point, I would 100% recommend this to any lovers of idle/automation games. I'd also like to mention that, although the game may have bugs, the developer has been incredible and extremely responsive when it comes to fixes and there's a patch for every issue I've raised. Just for the sheer respect of a dev like that, it's 100% worth getting!
