What are you doing reading reviews? Play the demo! It's best to go in without too much knowledge of the game, but I will say a couple of things as vaguely as I can. This game doesn't pull punches when it comes to the themes it's trying to tackle. The game surprised me the most In its discussion on the topic of nature. It's genuinely surprising to me that the game is willing to engage with this topic with the weight it deserves, without dumbing it down or sanding down the rough edges. It's a beautiful and haunting game with a lot of interesting things to say and a whole spectrum of emotions to make you feel. The soundtrack is amazing and unique and fits in the game perfectly. I had reservations about the game because of the "dating sim" tag, but it's much more of a "choose your own adventure" life Sim with some optional dating later on in the game. It's definitely one of my favorite story based games of all time.
excellent narrative design
I downloaded the demo and played it before I bought it, and I had enjoyed the demo. However, the main problem of this game is it's extremely repetitive. There's not much action, so I got very tired of playing it before even finishing my first playthrough. Some of the events are unexpected, which made it interesting in the beggining, but after few in-game years, I was just bored. The areas to explore are limited and only open up slowly through the years (and maybe not at all, I stopped playing at year 16 I think and only 2 areas were available). The events in the areas are also the same, as is the loot. Exploring is fun for the first time, but once an area is fully explored, there's nothing new added to it. The game is also heavily rooted in non-binary and polyamory culture, which is not an interest of mine, so to taint every character including the one we play that way just made it even less fun to play. Overall, I would not recommend it.
Love this game.. u really get attached to the characters in the game... amazing in debt stories/endings, the art style is beautiful, and the music is great.. LGBTQ Friendly.. you choose who u want to be. A lot of Romance options as will.

I just keep coming back for more. I've done three playthorughs now and I still want more. There's so much to discover and enjoy. The art and story is beautiful. I want the best for these characters. I feel as though I could play this forever. I've even been dreaming about resource management thanks to this. Yes that is a good thing!!!
