Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Rare game that gets better on each successive playthrough, and the devs did a fantastic job making multiple playthroughs worth it. Great writing, interesting storyline, and true player choice in terms of how you define the "best" ending. Also, pets.
Très bonne histoire avec un gameplay simple et efficace, une rejouabilité très bien pensé. J'ai été surpris par ce jeux et le recommande avec plaisir.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Was looking for a good and comfy after-work type of game to just chill out to when tired. This hit the spot. Despite being a very left-leaning game...with a love for soy, pronouns, gays, and other hippy stuff... it's still a fun "choices matter" type of game where you live from childhood to adulthood. Romance aspect and their endings are not that great...they either break up with you or you end up getting cucked...something sjws really like for some reason. Still a comfy time if you can set aside the woke stuff.
This game is so much fun and explore the ideas of time travel so well. Characters are well written and the art is beautiful, and so is the planet and its fauna. The story is so much fun and has so many different branching paths. If you like anything similar to these aspects, would highly recommend.
A really good cosy game where the gameplay and choices really do matter, with pretty big consequences. I went through 3 walkthroughs back to back. The character (friends, family and everyone living in the colony) stories and motivations gets clearer as the player lives through each month to get to know them, and with each playthrough. The ending of the first playthrough is not meant to be optimal as we as players are still learning everything. I recommend staying on, because it does get better. The game motivates me for other routes, to find the best one. I found what I myself considered to be the best end, but I'm not even half through the achievements and story of other characters. It is always a good time, and I will definitely be playing this as my go-to.
There are several reasons why you might not want to play I Was A Teenage Exocolonist: its overt references to ‘woke’ themes; its treatment of distasteful topics such as the female menstrual cycle; the cloying nature of its artistic direction, both visually and in terms of content; the overwhelming presence of teenagers which, although hinted at in the title, is a disturbing element that cannot be ignored. If one or more of these elements is intolerably distasteful to you, you should set sail for other gaming shores, which are now more plentiful than ever. If, on the other hand, you are level-headed people who recognize the risks of uncritically embracing an ideology, whatever it may be; if you believe that a creative work should not simply give you what you want exactly as you want it, but should stir something in your mind and soul, even if it causes you discomfort; if you believe that a work should be able to tackle any subject without hiding behind pointless bigotry, then perhaps this game is for you. I Was A Teenage Exocolonist is essentially a gamebook which, although in some respects it doesn’t quite suit my taste, has the great merit of telling a story with a distinct authorial flair, unafraid to put forward its own style and vision, managing to bring together contrasting elements (you’ll be showered with handfuls of sweets and slaps, just as life would have it) into a coherent whole. The game has a science-fiction premise that is certainly not original, but it has its own unique features, which explore humanity both as individuals and as a society. The game incorporates a simple card game with a deck-building system to tackle the many challenges the protagonist faces throughout their story. Whilst the mechanics themselves are nothing out of the ordinary, the concept whereby each card is linked to an experience and its memory is intriguing, as is the idea that as you grow older, you lose the less useful memories and, consequently, their corresponding cards. If you enjoy choose-your-own-adventure books and narrative games, and love immersing yourself in a story, open to what it has to say and offer, this game is certainly a worthwhile experience, regardless of whether or not it suits your taste. I’ve just finished my first playthrough and the impression, looking at certain screens that show you the elements you’ve unlocked and those still unexplored, is that the game gives you great freedom of action, and this, for me, is always a very welcome feature. Whether or not you decide to play this game, never forget to show your loved ones how much you care.
This game shouldn’t be this good, truly. But I keep coming back and it lives rent free in my brain.
I love this game! A refreshing take on narrative RPGs that blends deckbuilding and dating sim elements. The characters are built with beautiful sensitivity and each have their own conflicts to explore alongside the player character. My favorite part of this game is how everything is built upon memory, destiny, the pressures of society, and identity. Narrative RPGs and dating/life sim games typically have multiple endings, and this game uses that to its advantage to strengthen its themes. It's thoughtfully made and I'm excited to unlock more with each playthrough!
This game made me cry in the best way.
