A nice little game about what it's like to be a kid in a hospital. You switch between playing as the kid, and as the little robin from a platforming game the kid owns. And 50% of the game's proceeds go to the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity?! Buying & playing this game is an awesome way to support such an important cause. Here's my first impressions: https://youtu.be/BfehKfUmEwg

Fans of 90s platformers will appreciate the nostalgic and straightforward gameplay. I loved the clever story elements, but a standout feature for me was something quite simple: an interactive walkman, to play the games soundtrack. While the game performed well on my Steam Deck, I did encounter some minor bugs with missing text and a glitch in a mini-game that required restarting a level whenever I went off the tracks. The levels and mini-games themselves were quite simple, but these small issues didn’t take away from the overall experience. The game is a brief but impactful 3-hour play through, and I will always support a game with such a great cause behind it.
Great game! Being someone who had played many iterations of the game, watching it grow. This being the result is really amazing. Its fun, its engaging. I loved the mini-games, and even more so. The grace it handles the themes it surrounds. 10/10 - Olkore approved
Finished all the achievements in about 2 hours. The airplane one took the longest, about 25 minutes... you need to make sure all your shots are good with maybe room for 1 error. Have to be quick, too! Had lots of 13s and 14s before I hit the 15. The storybook within the story was a good read. It had beautiful imagery. Cassette tape is found in the floor is lava minigame. It's a very short game. Can be finished in one sitting. I got this game from a bundle, so I did not pay full price for it.
This game was beautiful. It was around a year ago when I played before I decided to make this review while looking through my library though. The video game segments are simple yet fun as can be, and the hospital story is touching and heartwarming. The gameplay itself is rather casual, but the story and symbolism more than make up for it. If you are looking for a nostalgic Super Nintendo 2D platformer type game with a rich story, buy this game.
I honestly got gut wrenched while playing the game especially with the kid talking while in the winter section. Absolutely raccomended it's a good 2D Platform and a great experience and buying the game will help kids too. If you want you can also directly donate to the charity here: https://tiltify.com/great-ormond-street/ill-be-brave-tomorrow (FYI: I don't receive monetary income from any of this or from my videos on youtube if you wanna help some kids please consider buy the game, I can't stress this enough) Feel free to check out my channels out for anyone that wanna see the game and the video I made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qJzFp_FzVk&t=62s https://www.youtube.com/@ChrysesCat https://www.twitch.tv/chrysescat

I absolutely adore this game! Not only is it so cozy but it is the most heartwarming narrative I’ve ever experienced! I also love the different game styles combined, it’s a really nice touch that makes you feel immersed in the game within the game. This game is definitely worth it!
