Relaxing and addictive game
I just tried to play it. The theme of living in a high-rise building is not bad. I just don't like the gameplay perspective because it makes me dizzy and the game lags a bit. It looks difficult to play. Especially when you have to go to another building, this perspective is too difficult.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I cozied myself trough the game. Only issue is a 30 sec freeze every morning at 6 am and every time you press ESC. This must be patched!.

100% recomendado.
Steam ratings are not about whether a game is "good". They are about whether you would recommend the game to other players. And I Am Future occupies such an odd little middle ground that I feel really comfortable recommending it to people right across the survival game spectrum. So let's get that out of the way first: I Am Future is a WEIRD game. And I'm not talking about the really odd and unsettling plot twist in the second act (although that is also decidedly weird). It's weird because it presents a technology system which is oddly loose and fiddly in much the same way that magic systems in some genres (LOTR, GOT) are loose and fiddly. Hardly anything in this game is "knowable" or "predictable" in the normal sense of survival games. A few examples will illustrate. You can generate power by a couple of means (biofuel, solar) but the game never tells you how much power you're generating. This isn't like Factorio or Satisfactory or Subnautica where a solar panel of value X produces Y power, and the in-game Bitcoin generator or alien containment field use Z power and therefore you do or do not have enough devices producing enough power. No. No. This is not what I Am Future does. Instead, you are told when your power is going to run out on a minute-by-minute basis depending on how much power is in use at that particular moment. Since this is obviously highly variable depending on if you suddenly set a manufacturing building a new task or night falls and the "ultraviolet turret" and the alien containment system turn on, pretty soon you pretty much ignore this value. Instead, what you end up doing is just putting your biofuel generators in the middle of your base and judge if you have "enough"power based on how often you have to throw fuel in them. Likewise, there are Factorio-style power accumulators, but since there's no programming system, there's no way to tell them to charge up during the day and discharge at night. Indeed, if the accumulators were doing anything useful except providing power if I forgot to put fuel in my biofuel generators, I missed it. But pretty soon you train a drone to keep your biofuel generators fueled so your accumulators instantly become even more useless. Farming is the same. Crops require water, obviously, but you're never told how much and you again kind of have to judge it based on how often you have to refill your water barrels. There are sprinklers, but they're obsoleted practically before you can build them because again you can just assign a drone to the watering duty. Just remember to refill the water barrels yourself from time to time if it doesn't rain often enough to do it for you. How often will you need to do this? Dunno. It kinda sorta depends on the number of crops but you're probably never going to learn if this or that crop wants more water than this other crop. There's a very Stardew Valley aspect to the clearing of debris away from your base-building area which (like SDV) simultaneously gives you space to build in and the resources that you need to build. But the nature of the materials you get from any given piece of debris vary by quite a bit. Even if the graphical model for the item that you're salvaging is identical to the one you just salvaged, you might get somewhat different materials from it for reasons that are not explained. So inventory management becomes kind of a pain because you can't really predict at what point you're going to run out of backpack space. Another item that's decidedly odd is that the devs couldn't predict the way the player would advance through the map, and each area of the map emphasizes slightly different resources. As a result, if you choose a route through the map that the devs didn't predict, you can end up with vast quantities of some materials and chronic shortages of others. The devs included a "matter reorganizer" sort of device that tries to balance this, but it's decidedly incomplete given that it doesn't accept some of the most common materials (looking at you in particular, leech tails). And since the game also doesn't really have a way to get rid of stuff you don't want, you can find yourself flooded with useless junk. Finally, the early game is a bit odd because the game play doesn't work quite the way you think that it should. The secret here is that the very early game is locked behind gates set for you by the developers. In particular, very early in the proceedings, you have to find the somewhat non-intuitive place the game gives you to sleep, repair the ladder to get there, and then you MUST sleep (even if it's still daytime) because the story won't progress until you do this. This continues well into the mid-game. The answer to the question that you'll have about just about any topic will invariably be answered if you just follow the task list that's been provided for you. In particular, the answer to "How do I get across these holes in the floor?" is "Keep doing what the game tells you to do. It will get there. It might not make a lick of sense when it does, but it'll get there." I feel like this review is going down a negative route and that's not my intention at all. I Am Future is fun and mentally stimulating, and not particularly challenging. It does a great job with "cozy survival game" and if that's what you're looking for, I would buy and play the two My Time games (My Time at Portia, My Time at Sandrock) first. But this is a good third game if you've already played those two. The tone of the game is lovely, the graphics are just right for this level of game, and the mental challenges are stimulating without being frustrating. The devs have a good game here. An odd game, but a good game. I do recommend it. 7/10.
Sehr entspanntes Spiel.
Super.
I loved this game. I find it extremely satisfying pulling stuff apart and clearing new areas. The controls were surprisingly intuitive for controllers. I liked that the achievements were easily achievable. It took me about 70 hours to finish all the achievements and the main quest. My only concern was that I couldn't close the game without it crashing.
