Hyperglide

A chill and flowy gliding game. Love it!

Hyperglide is a fun, affordable glider physics game that I recommend. It offers plenty of easy achievements and stands out from similar games like Superflight and Impossible Soaring; especially with its distinct graphics and subtly different controls. I enjoy having both games in my library because each brings something a little different to the table. The game runs smoothly on my PC and, with a few tweaks, works great on the Steam Deck as well. To get the best performance on Steam Deck, I set the resolution to 1200x800 (native) in the (....) Steamdeck menu, lowered the tree growth to 50%, and set the render scale to 80%. At 30 FPS and 90 Hz, the game looks and plays well. The controls are simple,just the stick and A button,which makes for a smooth experience, even with the Steam Deck’s spaced-apart controls. After about five hours of play, I think it is likely I’ll be coming back for more. If you enjoy glider games, Hyperglide is definitely a worthy purchase.

You can go as fast or as slow as you want, which makes this either very relaxing or very exciting!

Great vibe and a really nice flow.

The controls with a ps4 controller feel very responsive and crashing always feels like it's your own fault. The leaderboard scratches that competitive itch, for all those who seek it. This is definitely one of the "just one more round" type of games.

Cool sound, nice graphics, amusing game. Maybe it's just me, but I am struggling with the steering. Especially at start, it's difficult to stabilize - dumb Superman going up and down, up and down ... Looking forward to seeing where the game is going. Thanks for your efforts!
