Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

The latest edition in the How 2 Escape series, How 2 Escape: Lost Submarine has you and a partner work together to locate a missing submarine and prevent the start of a global war.
An important allied military base has been captured by enemy forces, prompting the government to preemptively order the launch of a torpedo to reclaim it - despite the potential for countless allied deaths.
However, after further internal discussions and negotiations with the enemy, the government cancelled the strike that could spark a potential global war. The only problem is "The Triumphant," the submarine carrying the torpedo, is out of communication range and no one can confirm if the cancellation orders have reached the submarine.
To prevent war, the government has tasked its two best experts, Haurée and Leroy, two strategic masterminds of the submarine fleet, to locate “The Triumphant” before time runs out and spread the latest information. These experts will face a reality they did not expect. Underwater, the startling torpedo decision broke out, igniting a moral dilemma among the sailors.
Put your communication and puzzle-solving skills to the test as you and a partner work together to prevent the start of war! Each of you has a crucial role to play that requires logic, coordination, observation and, above all, communication!
As player one, your job is to locate and investigate the inside of the submarine, where you’ll explore and interact with the environment.
Your friend is tasked with using the dedicated free companion app* to gather additional information so you both can solve the puzzles together.

It's cool. About 4-5 hours for first completion, about 3 more for second run when flipping roles. No direct in-game coop, only 1 player needs to buy the game to play, but you will need to buy it again if you want to do reversed roles and get achievements.
How 2 Escape: Lost Submarine is a brilliant, must-play co-op experience with clever puzzles and sharp, asymmetrical design. It's a fantastic game conceptually. However, the experience is completely destroyed by one catastrophic omission: there is no FOV slider. The fixed Field of View is so criminally zoomed in it feels like wearing "grandma glasses." Every camera turn is a stomach-churning assault. This isn't just a missing feature; it's a game-breaking design flaw that makes the game physically unbearable to play for long periods. Verdict: A perfect puzzle game conceptually, but the total lack of a basic FOV setting makes it an unbearable, headache-inducing nightmare. It’s an insult to the brilliant design work. Fix the FOV, and this is a masterpiece. Until then, approach with caution and Dramamine.

Parts feel more like a communication game and less of a puzzle game, like if you could share a photo of what you are seeing there would be no further thought needed. still fun but fyi
I mean... It's alright? I'd give it a neutral rating. If you like escape room games, you'll be alright with this game, though I'm not a huge fan of the asymmetrical aspect on this one... I can almost say I hate making player 2 use a phone/tablet. If that was an optional way of playing it, while you could play it on PC too, wicked. Huge 'do you guys not have phones?' moment. Might as well print it out as an interactive book, no? Perhaps it would be a little more lackluster if you played the glorified PDF on PC.. who knows. 'Cross-platform plays on two devices' is a weird way of saying 'this offline game requires you to have someone willing to download a phone app just so they can guide you through the game via the interactive manual we decided to make only available on phones'. The one and only upside to this I see is that you only need a single computer, anyone coming over for example, can get the phone app and you're good to go. Anyway... You go around solving rooms of puzzles. The puzzles themselves are fine. I really liked the way they implemented the hint machine. You have to collect cards in order to be able to get a code for any of the room's puzzles. Then you need to give the code to your partner who actually gets the hint. The cards are not hard to find at all, but it's more involved than just pressing a hint button at least. I couldn't tell you anything about the story, there were cutscenes and everything, but I skipped them all. All the 'wait for your partner' screens can be ignored (I think?). It's an offline game.. you just type a code into your disguised and strangely indexed manual (companion app), and you'll both end up in the same place anyway.
