Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Despite my immense love for the first three games, this one is beyond disappointing. It it EXTREMELY buggy and laggy, you cannot see the instructions because the screen kind of pixelates more than half the time, you cannot properly access game mechanics for the same reason, and you keep having to shift from full screen to small screen in hopes to fix the bugs. Tech issues aside, it feels lazy. The game design is less complex, the puzzles are way too easy, and the mechanism themselves feel like they are catering to very small children. You cannot really explore the landscape of the game as you once could with Jane. If you click on random spots, you no longer get her musings over the purpose of different items or simple observations that could clue you into the next step. When you click a hint during the puzzle, it doesn't show you how the puzzle is solved anymore. It just skips to it being solved already. The game doesn't make you think for yourself, as they once used to. Honestly, it felt extremely unplayable. I don't enjoy the new protagonist, either, because she doesn't go through the process of learning about the House or her newfound powers. She's basically OP and you get a big info dump at the beginning, but it doesn't explain how she is tied to the House and how she is a descendant of the family. With how buggy it is, I really don't feel like this has replayability value. I cannot even get through the bonus chapter because it bugged not even a minute into it. P.S. I miss a proper Collector's Edition with Beyond Objects. Looking for "evil faces" was extremely puerile.

This one sucked - without a doubt the worst game in the 1000 Doors series. Graphics were mediocre, challenges were not that interesting, and overall the game was boring. It was much shorter than the other games, and I was still wishing it was over the majority of my play through. The voice acting was bad, the graphics were bad, and the plot is bad. The deviation from the original character's design is disappointing, and the addition of a new character (Emily) who is completely bland and uninteresting with "special powers to save the world" is worse. I would've loved a game just expanding more on the Lancaster family and exploring the rest of the house. The charm of the previous games are the fact that the main character does not have special abilities to rely on, they complete the challenges through cleverness. This game sucked the life and intrigue out of literally every single character in it. Horribly disappointing, will definitely not be replaying like I do with the others. The previous games are charming, regardless of their dated mechanics and graphics - those are easily forgivable due to the beauty and real fun the puzzles offer. The concept art is wonderful and they look like real time, effort, and heart was dedicated to making them enjoyable games to play. This installment has none of those redeeming qualities. Every scene is visually cluttered, and not in the attractive and curious style of the OGs. Just overall a humongous flop for me, and definitely not a game I would recommend, especially to others who love the original House of 1000 Doors games.
If you are expecting this game to be like the first 3 House of 1000 doors, you are mistaken. Alawar has teamed up with Logris games for this one and not 5bn. However, after feeling disappointed at first as the game was completely different to the first 3, I was pleasantly surprised to see how good the game really was. The creativity is remarkable and the cartoony type graphics are very well done. The game is interesting and quite challenging. The developers put a great deal of work into this one to make a really fun and enjoyable game. I have played hundreds of these games, and this one measured up against some of the best. I recommend this one to everyone that enjoys these types of games. Just to mention. The HO scenes are creative and fun with few item list ones, and even those were quite clever. The puzzles were OK, but not the best. 5bn games has much better puzzles. Then lastly the voice overs were fake and terrible. I'm sure they could have done better. All in all this game was great though. ***It was a good game, but now it keeps crashing, what a disappointment***
Broken game, don't waste your time.
Excellent game. Very well thought out. Great mix of scene experiences.

Game breaking bug. Impossible to get finish the game. During the tank-plugging HOG in the trophy room, I can't select the plug behind the plate, preventing me from continuing the game. The problem seems to be known since 2019 and No attempt to correct it has been made.
