I renovated all of Pinacove and all I got was this Shirt (shirt not included) (would honestly buy a shirt with this on it assuming a good price) I like the work sim sorta games so it's an easy recommend
Co-op works great and speeds up all the work! Sometimes u will struggle with precise placement of smaller objects or tiles. 100% steam achievements can be easily done with some guides for collectibles and with some tips for k.o. achievement (For k.o. achievement i used this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/HouseFlipper/comments/1tr8y9b/ko_trophy_for_those_that_come_after/ )
OK I'm hooked on this one. I played the original House Flipper a lot. For me it was probably, along with the Car Mechanic Simulator games, one of the harbingers of the job theme immsims that are now everywhere, even the decluttering/cleaning/organising ones. (OK, we know why Power Wash is so addictive.) However it took me a while to try out the sequel because I had been put off by the price tag compared with House Flipper 1, but with a sale I was like "I have a hankering for a home renovation sim once again". So, for all of that, it is better. Same solid gameplay fundamentals but the addition of freeform building etc and being able to build stuff from scratch is a bit plus. There seems to be more jobs and properties to flip. More options with textures and objects so you can get into quite a lot of detail. The assembly minigame brings back my IKEA assembly PTSD. "Oh, this is a MALM", I said to myself. I do have to suspend a bit of disbelief when walls get suspended in mid-air during demolitions, a structural physics simulation as part of a more realistic approach to construction would be kind of neat BUT that does go outside the bounds of what the game focuses on. Maybe that's something for a third game in the series, just to provide a little bit of friction and difficulty... Also, I might have some quibbles with how the store catalogue is organised and some of the building tools, like roofing, also took a bit of figuring out - but that comes with the detail I mentioned above. Also that one can't really move outside the property bounds to have a good look from afar. Are they game-breakers for me? Absolutely not. Still an unqualified thumbs up.
