For starter, why the frick can't I inspect my cars in a 6DoF manner in a 2021 born video game that is based on one of the most influential collector cultures of all time? I wanna see the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ golden, chrome or shiny black belly of the beast I just collected, with fire engraved on it, damn it! Now for the ender, it's a good racing game, hence the recommendation, but as a man who grew up on the classics, such as Beat That! and Stunt Track Driver, it feels very dull and monotonous. The best way to put it is that it lacks the chaos and dorkiness that should entail the subject of grown men playing with and collecting flamboyantly colourful miniature models of automotives. Otherwise, it's just another racing sim or grid racer that's trying to deliver the experience of driving hypercars; Hot Wheels is definitely not that.

Bad game really bad. Monetization through DLC and Microtransactions is the reason this exists. And in singleplayer mode the game gets unfair pretty fast. Its definitely only trial and error and a platform for extreme mictrotransactions and DLC´s in an full price game.
Played this to completition on console, here is my not so hot take: Great game, terrible and lazy difficulty management. Anything above Normal is unplayable, the AI gets infinite boost (which also seems to be faster than yours) and really hardcore rubber banding. I have seen cars go off track and somehow within 3 seconds they are overtaking me again, it is miserable.

Lo compré por que me hacía ilusión, jugué mucho en su momento el de play 1 (extreme racing), pero está muchísimo más lejos de ser el producto que creía que iba a ser. Carreras muy poco dinámicas, las curvas están más que cerradas, casi no te deja hacer el "drift" porque te estrellas, la IA de los demás coches en modo intermedio es INSUFRIBLE, tienen turbo todo el tiempo literal, y las carreras contra jefes ni se diga. Lo más destacable son los diseños de mapas, y los autos, de resto es como si fuera un juego común de carreras.
God know what is it. It ain't realistic (granted), it ain't hot-rush-takedown like Burnout or NFS, it aint arcade fun like Mario Kart. I've never felt bored after merely 10 rounds of a racing game, but this one did the trick.

Great game to play to kill some time. Good amount of cars to collect and many tracks to play on. Can create your own tracks too and post them for online or local. Seems like online isn’t as active for this game but you might be able to find a lobby from time to time. Though it’s not a hard game, it does becomes a grind fest after a while when going for 100% and the rng for the creates (atleast for myself) kept getting the same cars over and over again. Once in a while may get something different. The DLC is a good addition but not at full price since it’s not a lot to do. I”ll say wait for a sale for all 3 dlc
