Every match is a sword stroke. HOSHIKIRI is an action roguelike that turns the match-3 board into a duel: before each strike, the boss casts a red danger zone across the board and starts a countdown — and on the final step, your match IS your move.
The board is your blade
- Dodge — swap outside the danger zone to slip the blow untouched, at the cost of your attack.
- Block — match along the strike's direction inside the zone to trade blows; 4- and 5-matches parry harder and counter harder.
- Perfect Parry — shape an L or a cross inside the danger zone: negate all damage, unleash a massive critical counter, and shatter the boss's posture.
