Super fedt heste spil - så hyggeligt at spille! :D
Fun, but def meant for younger kids. NPC movement is too slow or two fast for player to match pace with. Missions with NPC Following are slow and tedious, NPC must be inside of Player or else they don't move -running ahead to the destination doesn't speed up or teleport NPC. Sarah is 1791m away and not moving cause I ran ahead to the Old Mill -now I have to go all the way back to her. This isn't a good mechanic, especially for kids. So, play it if you want your hand held and spend an 1 hour doing a mission that would only take 20 minutes max if coded efficiently
This is one of the worst horse games I ever played (and I have at least played 20). I cannot understand the positive reviews at all. The graphics are nice, but thats really all there is. It's basically a badly made Schleich ad. The only thing to do in this game is riding to one location and back. The races are all the same, just on different spots on the map. There really is no challenge at all. The quests are very repetitive. Example: Ride to one place, talk to people, ride to a different place, search the location for an item, ride back, talk, ride back to home stables, end day. There was a quest where you had to drive sheep, which reminded me of "the stud farm inheritance", just that there you actually had to work to get the quest done. In this game here, you just have to ride behind the sheep and they will follow a predetermined path, whether you are riding more right or more left of it has no influence at all. If you would not have to read stuff to understand what you have to do, I would say the target audience is 5 year olds. But regarding reading skills, I guess 6-8 year olds fits better. Everyone older than this will probably be strongly bored. THIS GAME IS BASICALLY A WALKING SIMULATOR ON HORSES. Most of the time you have to follow an npc and ride as slow as them, because they will stop if you move too far from them. And in most other cases, you have to take the lead, but they are still slow so when you arrive at a destination, you will have to wait half a minute for them to arrive... And you cannot even shortcut everywhere. Some fences you can jump over, some that look the same but are at a different spot you cant... Also you cannot really walk or trot in this game. The horse will automatically go into canter after a short while. I am playing on keyboard, so I tried on controller if you can trot by not pushing the stick all the way: you cant. The horse still falls into canter after a short time. And even worse, for sprinting you have to press and hold the control stick. Which imo is one of the most uncomfortable ways of sprinting. Which brings me to the point that you have to press w or the control stick all the time for the horse to run, resulting in finger cramps after a while. Old horse games did this a lot better, you just had to press up once for the horse to change gaits and stay in it until you press down or up again. Animation, I noticed that the NPCs horses have, what we call "rabbit canter" in my language. A canter that looks like a rabbit running: both hind legs almost touching ground at the same time, and that shouldnt be done by a horse. tl;dr: + good graphics (if you like comic style) + you can create your own horse and character - walking simulator - repetitive quests - no quick travel (I know most horse games dont have one, but this here def needs one) - shortcuts / jumping over fences only at specific spots - repetitive music - no different equestrian disciplines - no challenge - gets boring after 1 hour of playing - controls suck - if those girls talk about muffins one more time, I will k*ll them. I really hope the second game is better, because unluckily I got them both in a bundle. And I really dont think I can play through this hell a second time. If you like horse games, play old ones (my riding stables, petz horsez, riding star, etc.). All of them are better than this one. edit: Yes, the second horse club adventures game is a lot better! Play that one instead.

Mir gefällt die Story.
The graphics are cute, but the game is boring and tedious. It’s just riding back and forth with no real purpose. There are no challenges, and everything is way too easy.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this game. Definitely made for kids but I am a horse game enjoyer after all.
it is fun
Simple go here, do this, go there do that. Beautiful and fun. Take hand breaks bc sprinting can hurt after a while on both keyboard and game pad.
