Very good little platformer. Stages are varied and controls are good

Alright, let's start this off, I'd say that Horoscopicus is a cute little platformer with roguelike elements, I like how we can get upgrades to our knight with levels, that's the most fun bit of the game, so the knight starts out VERY weak and later turns into a TANK, the knight is awesome. Though I don't like the combat, it's pretty repetitive, and clunky, it'd be very much easier if the knight gets some recoil after down slashing an enemy, the game also has these hollow knight vibes with how the slashing works and the way the knight enters doors, I like that, And I noticed the amount speedrunning potential this game has, it's awesome. my favourite part, THE REFERENCES, I love these!! My favourite are the rainworld and terraria references, there's so many! I also noticed things written on the backgrounds and the ground, neat little details. (The game of tic tac toe on the wall) Now the MUSIC, the music is AWESOME especially the music that plays in the save game areas in the last level and the music that plays in the start menu, it's beautiful, it what makes the game so cute. THE ART, pretty cool, though it took me a while to realize that the enemy that fly's around you and drops water on you is a bird, I LOVE THAT GUY, he's awesome. The second best is the final boss ;) The enemies, I LOVE the star guys, their so cool. But it's so sad that they have to be killed, they make sad faces :( also the scorpion enemy is probably the most scariest, even worse than the final boss, btw the final boss is really cool, and the level is great, though my favourite level is the Gemini, I like the enemies there, and that there is a cockatiel, I also have a cockatiel! And I think Gemini is my star sign, probably. Btw, the levels are really creative and just overall great(EXPECT FOR THAT BARRELL LEVEL) the Gemini level, the fire rising level, and the fish level are the best examples I could say that are of great game design.Its like you get a special feeling once you complete a level, I love that. The difficulty of the game? ITS CRAZY HARD, especially that BARRELL LEVEL, though, once you get all 3 hearts, it's pretty much fine, but the hardest achievement is something that I'll not be attempting, far too many attempts to no avail.. maybe some day after I become a platformer god I'll do attempt that godforsaken achievement. My other favourite bit, are the pets, really adorable and some of the best sprites out there in the game! I had to replay the whole game to find them all. So now, the conclusion bit, I would absolutely recommend you play this game, the developer was kind enough to lend me the game for free, Thanks again lolight, really nice of you And I'm sorry that I couldn't completely complete the game, to a 100% percent, I'll give it another go some day. Lots of unique level designs. The game can be slightly frustrating when you're new to it, but overall it's a great game.

the last part of this game is literaly harder then the final world in super meat boy, i am not joking. if you enjoy suffering and wanting to bash your head into a wall i guess you could pick this up???
