Horizon Walker

I love this game! Firstly i want to say that i don't just love the adult nature of the game, I genuinely enjoy the storyline, the unique gacha system, the characters and their abilities. I do however have a couple grievances. Number 1) There is a real lack of direction when it comes to what you should do next to get stronger especially later on which really hinders your overall progression (you get softlocked easily) especially if you're f2p. Number 2) It feels like you don't get enough coins which causes major stagnation, this is due in part to the fact that everything excluding outfits use coins. It's insane how much of this game requires coins, for example, leveling up weapons, leveling up vanguard skills, rolling the gacha/redeeming whatever you rolled in the gacha, buying from the shop. Some games remedy this by having a "Coin Dungeon" but i don't really know if that would work for this game since you don't use a voucher system to roll for vanguards. Number 3) The Vanguards are either super strong or super weak, i like that you're forced to budget Vanguards as they each have a numeric cost, but It really and i mean REALLY cheapens some of the Vanguards. This is the only viable team comp i've been able to muster, for this example i assume you have maxxed your MC to have a max Squad limit of 18 points. If you have Olivia or Corra (arguably without a doubt, the best Vanguards in the game) they cost 8 points each, for a balanced team comp you can only realistically have 1 on your team at a time. Then frankly, you honestly only have 2 real options, you can have 2 additional 5 cost mediocre vanguards, or have one decent 6 cost and a very mediocre 4 cost Vanguard. This way of balancing really strangles the player, because they almost have no creative freedom on what Vanguards they can use, especially when you're f2p. Either way, hopefully my critiques find the devs well, I love the game and i wish them well. I just want the game to succeed and i hope for plenty more updates.
