Gacha ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks dude. A cancer in the game industry even for this kind of game. Don't waste your time.

I should lead with my main complaint being the rhythm game, and that this is a mobile game first. Certain mechanics don't translate properly when converting to Keyboard, which I can understand and accept. That said, the PC version is astonishingly bad. Sharing in-game photos, rhythm game leaderboards, and, randomly, certain in-app purchases are all disabled on PC. Why can't I buy a monthly resource pack on the PC version? Heck if I know. Two of the main rhythm game mechanics (flick notes and the moving long notes) don't work on PC format, and thus, were entirely ignored. Furthermore, the game has an awful habit of thinking I pressed the right button when I didn't, and other times, entirely ignoring button inputs that I see the game knows I pushed, but maybe that's a personal thing. The PC version needs some love, as I cannot for the life of me figure out why sharing screenshots is prohibited on the PC version. Other than that, though, it performs fine on PC, though I notice connectivity issues sometimes. If you're a big fan of Hololive it's fun to play around with the story and all, and they made it very easy to link accounts. In fact, a lot of love was put into this game. There's lots of attention to detail and random funny moments. The writing feels a bit...bland sometimes, but overall it's fine. I'm perfectly fine with some jank on the PC rhythm game because the rest feels wonderful to play. And if you don't care about trying to hit max combo on the highest difficulty, or are just a bit of a noob with rhythm games, there is an Easy mode if you're struggling. I should probably also mention the Gacha mechanics...I personally think "F2P with unlockable characters" is fine, but there are plenty of legitimate complaints about the gacha system as a whole. For Hololive Dreams, though, it's not *bad*, really. It's got a much better pity system than usual, allowing you to choose a 5 star after enough pulls instead of just guaranteeing a random one, and it would be a crime not to mention the fact that 5 stars are a full 5% chance over the usual under 2% chance. And the gacha really does not effect gameplay much, so it's mostly just pick your favorite skin for your favorite talent. You get a decent amount of Gacha Currency #1, so you have a decent number of pulls for each new banner if you save up every once in a while. Overall a good game, 4/5 stars. A game that people put a lot of effort and passion into.
