game is good
I had to replace my PC not too long ago and found my access to my old save has been severed as a result. That's on me for not having that kind of foresight to create an account link, but a game like this should've had Steam Cloud support to prevent this. Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, a fellow gacha game, has it, so there's no reason for Hololive Dreams to not do the same. Losing my save data is pretty demotivating, and unless they add Steam Cloud support, I don't know if I'll be coming back to this game.
The rhythm game itself is fun and not bad at all, even in the PC version. However, I think Expert mode is impossible in PC for me (skill issue I guess), so I always play on Hard mode. There are also mini-games that I enjoy, like Pokajang and Shiori's High Low. The chibi designs are also very cute and feel like they were made with a lot of love. Now, for the gacha part, I wouldn't recommend spending too much money since the rates are pretty bad. But if you're lucky and have a lot of money to spare, then it's up to you. I know that spending money on the game supports Hololive and the girls, but I'd personally rather buy merchandise from my oshi to support them than gamble on bad gacha rates. So, I recommend playing this if you genuinely enjoy the game itself. Don't try to collect everyone unless you have plenty of disposable income. If you want to support the game without spending too much I recommend getting the monthly pass and saving your Red Dias for the characters you really want. (I'm waiting for Justice, Cece and Gigi specifically)
It features an great song repertoire, adding more and more songs with the new updates. If you don't usually play rhythm games, this one is a great chance for you to try out. A generic rhythm piano-style game, but it’s fun to see your *oshi*'s reactions and how the current members interact with each other. However it is not only a rhythm game. It also includes entertaining minigames. The fact that also includes a long story mode also gives it a plus including also mini stories between holomembers. On the other hand, optimization isn't great on android or PC.There are some frame rate drops in free mode, which i guess will be fixed. It is not that much bothersome but you would expect more from hololive.
