Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Hohokum is one of the most confusing games I’ve ever played. Half the time I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to be doing, where I was supposed to go, or if I was even making progress at all. It feels less like a traditional game and more like being dropped into a giant interactive art project and being told to just figure it out. That said, the visuals are *incredibly* pretty. Every area is colorful, weird, creative, and full of tiny details and strange little animations that made me want to keep exploring even when I was completely lost. The soundtrack and overall atmosphere also do a lot of heavy lifting. Even when I was confused, the game still felt relaxing and oddly hypnotic in a way that kept pulling me forward. I honestly can’t confidently say I understood most of what was happening, but I can say it’s one of the most visually memorable games I’ve played.
This game is beautiful and perfect. I put a few hours into the Playstation version years ago but am glad to be able to buy it a second time. Playing this with my kiddos while the colors twinkled in their eyes is a memory that no other game has ever been able to give me. As an added bonus, Tycho's 'A Walk' is in my funeral playlist now too.

Hohokum, developed by Honeyslug and Richard Hogg and published by Annapurna Interactive, is a vibrant and whimsical exploration game that invites players into a world brimming with color, creativity, and playful curiosity. Eschewing traditional goals, challenges, or even a conventional narrative, Hohokum is more of an interactive art piece than a typical game. It’s designed to evoke a sense of wonder and joy, encouraging players to meander through a surreal landscape at their own pace, discovering quirky characters, hidden secrets, and soothing sights and sounds along the way. The game places you in control of a flying, snake-like creature called the Long Mover, whose primary purpose is to explore a series of fantastical, interconnected worlds. Each environment is a lovingly crafted canvas bursting with vibrant colors, abstract shapes, and imaginative designs that feel like stepping inside a living painting. The aesthetic is playful and dreamlike, with fluid animations and a minimalist art style that invites you to simply enjoy the moment rather than focusing on objectives or scores. The soundtrack complements the visuals perfectly, featuring an eclectic and relaxing mix of tunes that enhance the overall atmosphere of calm and creativity. Unlike most games, Hohokum doesn’t rely on traditional mechanics such as combat, puzzles, or quests. Instead, it fosters a sense of open-ended discovery where your interactions are limited but meaningful. As the Long Mover, you interact with various curious inhabitants of the world, triggering subtle animations, events, or changes in the environment. These interactions often feel like playful conversations or dances between you and the world, emphasizing curiosity and exploration rather than competition or urgency. This relaxed pacing allows players of all ages and skill levels to immerse themselves in the experience without pressure. One of the most striking features of Hohokum is its emphasis on sensory immersion. The game’s visuals and audio work in tandem to create an environment that feels alive and responsive. The shifting colors, ambient soundscapes, and whimsical animations create a meditative space that encourages relaxation and mindfulness. This focus on atmosphere makes Hohokum more than just a game—it becomes a calming escape from the stresses of everyday life, a digital playground where creativity and imagination take precedence over traditional gameplay structures. While Hohokum may not appeal to those seeking a conventional gaming experience filled with objectives, challenges, or narrative depth, it shines as a beautifully crafted experiment in interactive art. Its strength lies in its ability to evoke emotion and spark curiosity without words or explicit guidance. Players are invited to create their own stories and interpretations, making each playthrough a unique journey of personal discovery. The absence of text or spoken dialogue reinforces this universal appeal, allowing players from any background to connect with the game on a purely sensory level. In conclusion, Hohokum stands out as a celebration of creativity, exploration, and sensory experience. It’s a refreshing departure from mainstream gaming, offering a tranquil, joyful space where players can lose themselves in a world of color and imagination. Although it lacks traditional gameplay elements, its charm and artistic ambition make it a memorable and uplifting experience. For those willing to embrace its open-ended nature and appreciate the beauty of simple, playful interaction, Hohokum offers a uniquely soothing and enchanting adventure unlike any other game. Rating: 8/10
This game is basically interactive art. You interact with the environment around you to solve puzzles and advance. Nothing is really explicit and it doesn't hold your hand, but experimenting is fun and it's beautiful. Every second of it could be a wallpaper and it's a bit reminiscent of Matisse's works. Another highlight is the soundtrack with songs by artists like Tycho which sets a relaxing and playful mood. I hope for more games like this one
Swimming around as the technicolor sperm is cool and all, but when does the game start?
A beautiful whimsical game of exploration and childhood innocence. Plus fun collectables! Only downside is that I am physically unable to inject myself into the game to live there forever
Hohokum is a masterclass in wordless discovery, perfectly capturing what it means to be driven by pure curiosity. The story begins with a simple game of hide-and-seek. After your companions scatter, you take on the role of a graceful, godlike creature—part kite, part serpent—drifting through vibrant, miniature worlds to find them. There are no tutorials, no UI, and zero text. No hand-holding? That’s the whole point. The game trusts your intuition. Whether you’re carrying passengers on your back, coaxing strange plants to bloom, or coloring up the background, you figure out the mechanics simply by interacting with the soul of each world. The art style and the lack of guidance work in perfect harmony. It feels less like a "puzzle to solve" and more like a space to inhabit. In this world, to be lost is simply to be exploring. If you’re looking for something unique, smooth, and genuinely beautiful, this is the ultimate digital getaway.
Cute and stylized series of environmental puzzles that put a lot of trust in player intuition. It kind of feels like some of the best Cool Math Games I played as a kid, just even more polished. It’s really fun to just slither around and explore all the beautiful areas.
An experience more than a game, but with enough commitment to that premise to avoid mediocrity. Colourful and fun, with music that fits the theme well.
