The combat is really clunky and not fun
Honestly pretty fun but they write very single character to try and guilt you into being a good person so it kinda gets repetative because they all have the same values
spent an entire day playing this game the moment it came out and it is awesome highly recommend

Great story, great gameplay. 100% worth the money
I highly recommend this game to others. If you enjoy action RPGs, than this is the game for you. The combat mechanics are just spectacular, with interesting and unique enemies to fight! I love the ability to switch fighting between enemies by using the left analog stick on your controller! The enemies are fun to play against, although I think some are a bit infuriating like the grenadier. The animation and art style is terrific. I love the effects that your weapons and abilities make, and how beautiful the environment is. This goes for the soundtrack and sound effects. The soundtrack is amazing and fits the game perfectly. The sound effects are also super satisfying during battle. The only criticism I have of the game is the save system. Often times, when I would die from an enemy in battle, I would respawn incredibly far away from where I fought. Another thing is that, sometimes when I would complete a few arenas/battles in game, and then exit game. It would restart me from the beginning when I'd reopen the game again, and I would have to redo all the arenas/battles. Other than those criticisms, I love the game very much. I love the idea of being able to play ruthlessly, or try to uphold your kingdoms values by sparing your enemies' lives. Definitely a 10/10 game in my eyes.
From everything that I've played so far, the story seems like it could end up being something great, and the choices you're given seem actually meaningful, but in the current form the game is in, I would not recommend getting it. The game has virtually no settings whatsoever, practically everything is based on controller play, and it took a bit to find the one and only page that actually shows the controls for playing with a keyboard which I had to look back on so many times in the little I've played because the game only actually tells you how to play with controller. I might say how I like the story, but honestly I think the actual dialogue is pretty bland. Also, the game seems to lack a lot of sound effects, espically during dialogue. Overall, I think the game could end up being something great, but right now? It's not worth your $15.
After playing through this game a few times, I feel it definitely warrants the recommendation. Overall, the game ran beautifully and the premise of going back through the other timelines gives it some good replayability. The combat took a little getting used to, but after I got the hang of it, it became quite satisfying to pop the armor off of my enemies in non-lethal mode. You get punished for blindly spamming your attack, which made learning the enemies and their spacing feel pretty rewarding. I played with KB/M and had no issues after learning the bindings.
I've given Hindsight 20/20 several play throughs to try the different action, relationship choices, and endings that are available. The puzzles are intuitive and boss battles test you with the various combat techniques you have learned and mastered. I really like the character/creature/enemy designs. It's a fun play that will have you wondering what other choices you could make.
Very fun combat with animations that make you feel like a total badass. I love that enemies react differently depending on your weapon choice and there's morality to consider in your quest to saving (?) your town. Also stellar music & sound design, really adds to the experience. Can't wait to play more and then replay the game while being super evil!
Bon jeu !
