Hidden Object Adventure: Captain Nemo. Objets Cachés

Played through to completion! Graphics – Terrible even for a HOG but it does the job. Soundtrack – 3/10 it loops. Bugs - None. Overall - Its one of the better HOGs by this developer but overall its pretty naff compared to others developing this type of game. Well worth the pick up on sale if you like HOGs. Rating - 5/10

There's not much to say about this HOG, and while I am recommending this, it's not a jump-up-and-down, "You must play this game!!" sort of recommendation. It didn't offend my sensibilities (having no voice-overs, and a less than an hour and a half playtime will do that for you), and it wasn't unenjoyable.....but you sure can do better. It is quite plain, with very little in the way of bells and whistles, just some lo-res hidden object and spot the difference scenes. You can use the mouse-wheel to zoom in, but that might not help you at such low resolutions (although there is both an object identifier button, so you can actually see what the text label is referring to, and a hint button.) The achievements are easy to get (for the most part) and it comes with trading cards (if you're into those sorts of Steam features), and it won't give you leprosy. So, sort of recommended, just know that it is really, REALLY no frills, and you can probably do better. If it's on sale, get it for a lark.
