Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

"Hex Cats" is a hex (hexagon) grid puzzle game in which you are twisting and moving pieces to link the yarn for the cute feline friends to play with! It's indeed a charming twist on the classic hex pipes puzzle, especially with such adorable little cats! It has many levels and it's perfect for all audiences. Clever level design that becomes more complex and difficult the more you progress in the game. It's neither very easy nor very hard. It has a very good balance between thinking and relaxing. Very entertaining and sweet! Cozy soundtrack! Can you help the cute cats play with their yarn? ^^ For more reviews, follow my curator https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44864435-Mewesome-Reviews/

Wollknäule entheddern. Wer hat daran keinen Spaß?
Buggy mess. Straightforward until swapping gets involved, as the UI keeps swapping the wrong tiles, or forgets to swap entirely, resulting on stacked tiles in some places and holes in others. As the interface doesn't provide a basic Undo button, full reset is the way out of the recurring Swiss cheese situations. Meanwhile, the game regularly ignores valid paths and solutions. This one is not game-breaking, but embarrassing nonetheless. Bugs aside, the game also suffers from poor visibility, notably low contrast colours, and unclear indicators of what can be swapped with what, of which groups of tiles will rotate together, etc. I've seen games doing the latter very well with passive indicators alone, but since that's not so easy to achieve, I would have settled for some form of highlight upon hovering. Poor visibility and bugs insert difficulty - not in an entertaining way - in what should be a methodical, relaxing walk in the park.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game until I hit a bug. This bug will NOT allow me to continue playing the game so I reported it to the devs. Unfortunately, it has yet to be fixed. Since the game cannot be continued, I spent money (and time) on this game for nothing. This game is BROKEN. Until it is fixed (IF), I don't recommend wasting money on a broken game. :-(
A beautifully crafted puzzle game with a magical feline twist! The puzzles are fun and progressively challenging, but never overwhelming. The art style is cute and colorful, and the relaxing atmosphere makes it a joy to play. A great game to sit back, relax, and enjoy!
Hex Cats is a puzzle game built around simplicity, comfort, and a love for feline charm. Developed and published by Gray Boss, the game takes a familiar connection-based puzzle formula and reshapes it into a peaceful experience designed for players who prefer relaxing gameplay over intense challenges. Instead of overwhelming players with complicated mechanics or fast-paced objectives, Hex Cats embraces a calmer approach where thoughtful problem-solving and cozy presentation become the center of the experience. The gameplay revolves around manipulating hexagonal puzzle pieces to reconnect tangled yarn patterns scattered throughout each level. Players rotate and position tiles carefully, creating complete paths while navigating increasingly intricate board layouts. The core concept is easy to understand within minutes, making it approachable for casual players, but later puzzles gradually introduce enough complexity to maintain engagement. There is satisfaction in watching disconnected pieces slowly come together into complete designs, especially as solutions become less obvious and require stronger planning. What helps Hex Cats stand apart from many puzzle games is its use of hexagonal board design. Traditional tile connection games often rely on square grids that produce familiar movement patterns and predictable solutions. By shifting to six-directional hexagonal spaces, the game encourages players to think differently about puzzle layouts. Spatial awareness becomes more important, and solving levels often requires looking at problems from multiple angles rather than relying on straightforward trial and error. The design creates enough strategic depth to remain interesting without becoming frustrating. The game's atmosphere plays an equally important role in its appeal. Hex Cats clearly aims to provide a cozy environment where players can relax and unwind. Soft visuals, warm presentation, and playful feline companions give the entire experience an inviting personality. The cat theme never feels forced or superficial. Since yarn serves as the foundation of puzzle interactions, the presence of curious cats naturally complements the gameplay. Small visual details help create an environment that feels comforting and welcoming from beginning to end. Level progression maintains a steady balance between accessibility and challenge. The game offers dozens of handcrafted puzzles that gradually increase in difficulty while introducing enough variation to keep progression satisfying. Rather than relying on sudden spikes in complexity, Hex Cats encourages learning through experience. Early stages establish the fundamentals while later levels build naturally upon previously learned concepts. This approach keeps the experience approachable while still rewarding players who enjoy improving their problem-solving skills. The handcrafted structure deserves particular recognition because it gives puzzles a more intentional feeling. Each challenge feels designed to provide a specific type of thought process rather than existing as randomly generated content. That attention to pacing helps the game maintain consistency throughout its runtime. Players can settle into a comfortable rhythm where progression feels rewarding rather than exhausting. Audio design further reinforces the relaxing atmosphere. Gentle background music supports the laid-back tone without becoming distracting. Combined with the calm visual presentation, the soundtrack helps establish Hex Cats as the type of game players can comfortably enjoy during quieter moments. The experience feels designed to reduce stress rather than create it, making it especially appealing for players looking for a slower-paced alternative to more demanding genres. Another element that strengthens the title's identity is its clear affection for cats beyond simple visual appeal. The overall presentation feels built around appreciation for feline charm rather than using animals purely as decoration. That sense of sincerity gives the game additional personality and helps it stand out among cozy puzzle releases that sometimes rely too heavily on aesthetics without supporting gameplay depth. Hex Cats does not attempt to reinvent puzzle gaming entirely, nor does it introduce highly experimental mechanics that radically transform the genre. Instead, it succeeds by refining familiar ideas into something polished and enjoyable. Players searching for extreme challenge or highly competitive systems may find the experience too gentle. However, players who enjoy relaxing puzzle titles, cozy atmospheres, and thoughtful progression systems will likely find plenty to appreciate. The game understands its strengths and focuses on delivering them effectively. Charming presentation, intelligent board design, and accessible progression combine into an experience that feels satisfying without becoming overwhelming. Hex Cats succeeds not by chasing complexity, but by creating an inviting space where puzzle solving feels rewarding, calming, and consistently enjoyable. Rating: 8/10
