extremely over-the-top woke, it's extremely shoehorned in, it is to the point you can't simply ignore it. it's a shame because it could have been immersive if it weren't for the fact it breaks it's own immersion by using weird pronouns, making a point of inserting sexuality and a host of other dog-whistles. this "game" is closer to a propaganda/normalisation piece. I really gave it a fair shot but it doesn't let up.
Heroes Rise: The Prodigy é bom, muito bom. NOTA: 8,0/10,0

Fun on the first playthrough, but any subsequent playthroughs will show you that many of your decisions didn't really matter as you'll still be shoehorned into the same plot, regardless of if it fits your narrative decisions. Other titles by this dev seemed much more branching, so I would only suggest this if you intend to do a single runthrough and not to try out the majority of routes.
good
An interesting superherogame, not that different from the standart superhero-story, but well made. Still, it suffers from some of the general choice of games flaws like forced character interaction, scripted defeats to advance the story and rather forced love-interest. It seems also somewhat biased agaist defensive and lawless builds, so playing a straight up hero is presented as the golden way, even as there are other options. Not enough different outcomes for choices. But the writting is superb and really engaging, so i dont mind the flaws to much. Edit: I still recommend the game, i do not recommend the trilogy. Its to much of a sadist show to enjoy. The everyone dumps on the mc and they struggel agaist all odds was fine in this game, but not so much when it happend constanley in every other game. That just negates choices and carthasis. Also, if you dont play as the ultimate and perfect hero, it will go worse for you and the game will constantley call you out. This is frustrating, because after how much s_it the MC goes through, they are absolutley justified in hating people. If you dont share the authors views on heroism and other political stuff, you will not enjoy this.
The overall quality didn’t satisfy me, and I especially didn’t like the power scaling at all.
Solid 8/10 game/book. There were moments where it felt wonky with choices maybe not actually mattering but overall, it is a good start to a trilogy. And for only a few bucks its good enough. Curious to see how the trilogy plays out.
Its a great game and it makes me laugh alot
"Heroes Rise: The Prodigy" has a good story, and on the face of it, if you treat it like a linear narrative with some exciting twists and turns, it’s an excellent read. However, it’s not supposed to be a linear story, and yet, apart from some changes if you decide to play lawless rather than lawful for example, the vast majority of the game plays out the exact same way every time. Not only that, but you often don’t even get to decide how you want to handle a specific situation. An example of this, in my case, came about when my chosen love interest tricked me into coming to save her when she wasn’t actually in danger. Doing something so reckless and worrying me needlessly didn’t agree with me, so I decided to back away, picking the option that says nothing will happen between her and me, but that choice is barely acknowledged. You still end up kissing and in bed together. After, when you find a dark secret, I couldn’t bring myself to overlook it, but you’re never given the option to stop your former lover or turn them in. In short, I often felt that my choices were superficial and didn’t actually impact the ensuing narrative, and I should know as I’ve played through the game multiple times with vastly different builds. With that in mind, I can only give this game the weakest recommendation possible, and if you want the best outcome, I’d recommend you stick to lawful, justice, and with a team focus. (5/10)
jogo incrível, com uma história incrível, e com uma customização surreal. dá pra escolher gênero, pronome, sexualidade... as possibilidades de criação de personagem são infinitas
