I was initially quite enamored with Her Story. Viva Seifert puts forth a strong performance and both Sam Barlow's story and the gameplay itself are well done. The self-guided pace felt like both a blessing and a curse. I felt ownership over my experience of the story, but I also felt quite clueless about how to wrap things up. The ending was sort of a letdown, as I hadn't put quite enough pieces together to understand my place in all of this, and even after ruminating on the fractured tale for a few days I'm not sure if the ending was entirely earned. Minor quibbles aside, Her Story is certainly worth the investment, time and monetarily. I'm looking forward to playing Sam's other titles, as well.
Was very entertaining to dive through the content in this. A fun break from my usual games. Made sure to get 100% achievements, and the ending line was so rewarding for me lol.

DAMN. One of the worst things I've ever "played". The ending is hilarious.
This game had a slow start for me, but i ended up enjoying the game. Would rate it 7/10. Initially i was a bit confused on what i even was supposed to do, but ends up that you only really have to search for keywords in the database and watch the short clips that show up as a result. There really is nothing else you'll have to do in this game. It took me some time to get into it (roughly 15-20 minutes). But after i learned a little bit of the story, i started to get very curious. The story is quite complex, juicy, very well written, and the actress in the videos did a great job. I would say the difficulty of the game would be medium. While some keywords were very obvious, others did require a bit more thinking and searching. Some results were completely useless. Others were contradicting or confusing: which stimulated me to dive deeper to understand what was going on. And some clips gave great insight in who the interviewed woman is, what happened, or why. Do i recommend the game? Yes. Do i think it is worth spending 10 euros? Not sure, because it is short and non-replayable (unless i forget the plot in a few years). BUT if it is on sale i would definitely recomend to try it

Vine por la investigación, me quedé por la actuación....y terminé haciendo un excel. Her Story es especial para quien disfruta de armar un rompecabezas, pieza por pieza. El Rastreador de Clips que hay en ti lo agradecerá. Es como rellenar un álbum de figuritas, solo que usando palabras claves..., una palabra te lleva a un clip y a una nueva palabra clave que te lleva a otro nuevo clip....y cuando te das cuenta creaste una planilla en excel para entender mejor la cronología, cuantos clips y duración por fechas, quien es quien, ropa, colores, barra de progreso....clip tras clip tras clip tras clip... Her Story es Viva Seifert, pero "su historia"....es otro tema. Destaca su sobresaliente actuación, con un manejo de los gestos y expresiones, que junto a su encanto, te seducen a quedarte un rato más...solo otro clip... La historia...."her story"...por otro lado, lamentablemente tiene algunos puntos flojos, partiendo de la premisa que el personaje está siendo interrogado por la policía, la manera en que habla, los diálogos y otras sorpresas, no se condicen con la situación. El problema no es la actuación, sino la dirección, como se decidió contar la historia. De todas formas, puedo entender, Sam Barlow busca acercar el personaje al jugador, y en esa intención, se pueden tolerar algunas licencias, para que la mecánica del juego funcione y la historia sea contada. La mecánica del juego es simple y en su simpleza, atractiva. Hay algunos (bastantes) clips de relleno, otros más difíciles de encontrar. Si después de un tiempo te aburre y ya no se te ocurre que más escribir, preparate una taza de café ;-) armate de paciencia y volvé a intentarlo. [spoiler]Tampoco me cierra la historia, y la historia no cierra. El final abierto me deja perplejo, no se si es acertado o flojo.[/spoiler] El logro del mini-juego "Mirror Game" es una complicación innecesaria, impedimento molesto para el 100% de logros y juego "completado", peor aún, nada tiene que ver con el juego en si... Her Story es un FMV entretenido, aún con sus puntos débiles, es buen juego. Recomendado. Al inicio la primera palabra es MURDER, y para finalizar me despido gritando (y cantando): Murderer... Interesting game , i liked it but the ambiguous ending felt a bit lackluster since there are clues hinting towards either explanations.This feels a bit cheap to add more mistique to the game.
Extremely interesting gimmick good story and super fun mechanics seems unreasonable to get 100 percent without a guide.
A very cool experience! I was totally hooked, although it did become a bit tedious once I had figured out the story but still had several fragments left to hunt down. I was determined to figure it out, though, and got there soon enough. There are also guides available if you need them. Can absolutely recommend this if you want to explore alternative ways of storytelling and would like to solve an intriguing mystery!
