Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I liked Immorality bettter, Steam needs a star rating system. I give this game a good solid meh/10

Great riddle, you have to search with keywords that you have to figure out of video clips.
It's been almost three years since I played this game and "OOOOHhhhh the DREADFUL WIND and rain" is still stuck in my head. Not sure if that's a positive or negative review-- but it certainly left a lasting impression.
The story is quite impressive! I had such a blast figuring out new keywords, searching for more clips, and slowly piecing everything together. That moment when the truth finally clicks—so freaking satisfying. What really cool is how the story is told through fragmented clips.
Before I saw certain ones, I honestly couldn't tell if she was dealing with schizophrenia or if they were actually twin sisters. That doubt itself made the story even more attracting.
Such a clever way to tell a story.
Even though we are supposed to be investigating her husband's death, what we are truly uncovering is her story.
Absolutely recommend this game.
I was looking forward to playing this game but I found it quite boring. The novelty of typing the names into the computer and jotting down things she said into my notepad wore off after about 30mins. I held on hoping it would get better but unfortunately not. Would have preferred it if there was some sort of note taking in the game, like once you have watched one of the clips you can click on the notepad/detective journal which could be on the computer you use and you can look to see important evidence in regards to the case. I had payed BlackSad before and this had this kind of mechanic in the game which made it easier to remember information. The acting reminded me of shows like Eastenders or Coronation Street. If I didn't have to write lots of stuff down while playing I probably would have finished the game. If this doesn't bother you then maybe you will have more fun than me.
I loved this game. I have to say, I am amazed at what was done here. A masterful example of a unique style of game. One that was executed well, as it had me on edge throughout the whole game learning what had happened. Finally, I must say: having the default first search be what it is jarred me upon starting the game, in a way it absolutely should have. A perfect way to get the player right into the thick of it without giving away the mental workout this game provides.
Overall, I had a good time, but the game design is lacking. Unveiling the story was entertaining, and I think the actress did a great job. However, the game mechanic for unlocking content is not well-designed. Unlike games such as The Roottrees Are Dead, where you really need to exercise your powers of deduction to come up with meaningful prompts or search terms, Her Story only has a limited number of entries you can retrieve that way. Instead, if you're a completionist, you'll find yourself stuck typing common English words in the hopes of hitting a one-second entry. The ending was also very underwhelming; it didn't require any proof that you had actually understood the story.
The perfect game to light a cigarette, sip some black coffee, and channel your inner detective.
The game leans heavily into immersion. Making it feel like you are using an antiquated police tool to find and view videos. Which is neat, for about an hour. Then it becomes frustrating. I can't even begin to describe how frustrating, As you realize you need to sort hundreds of videos with a scroll bar that doesn't work and and interface that sometimes reverts your work. The story is reasonably good, but not nearly good enough to make up for it.
