About
Hellish Quart is a local-only (two players play on one PC, not online), physics-based sword fighting game. Set in 17th century Poland, it features a cinematic story and the most iconic sword fighter archetypes of this period.
With motion-captured fencing techniques and four gamepad buttons representing four attack angles, you'll need to use timing, technique, and speed to defeat your opponents. Choose from a variety of warriors and take part in cinematic story mode, arcade mode, safe sparring, quick fights, survival mode with online leaderboards, or local multiplayer. If you want to hone your sword fighting skills, you can spar with wooden weapons or train in modern HEMA gear. And for the ultimate experience, Hellish Quart also offers an optional VR mode.
Please note that the game is still in development and only supports local multiplayer (two players play on one PC, not online).

Hellish Quart utilizes active ragdolls and real-time physics to get you the ultimate fencing experience. You can attack from four different angles using the four gamepad buttons. Different button combinations enable special attacks and combos. When you are not attacking, your character automatically assumes a defensive stance, blocking your opponent's attacks using the autoguard feature. Proper timing, technique, speed, measure, and wits are all crucial to winning, just like in real-world fencing.
The game is set in the historical 17th-century Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, and the character models are based on 3D-scanned, reconstructed clothes from that period. The single-player campaign, once completed, will be firmly rooted in the reality of life in the region. You will duel against Zaporozhian Cossacks, Polish Hussars, Tatars, Turkish Janissaries, Swedish Reiters, French Musketeers, and more.

At last, something different. A very interesting combat system—you’re genuinely scared to get close to enemies. Great atmosphere and an amazing soundtrack. A must-play ;)
Unusual mechanics, but when you get used to them it's really fun!
The most realistic fight game what I ever played. You can fight for minute or just finish it in one or two strikes if you lucky. Need some polishing but ok its early access. The best thing come on swords, kozacs, polish sabre. why none of characters is called Wolodyjowski?

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very indepth modding system (so i have heard!) physics based combat should always be standard in games like this. This game is pure sword fighting, and its done perfectly. YES, the price is steep. But its encouraged by the developers to just use parsec (I hate parsec) but steam remote play has come along way, and have had great times with my friends. If you have 35$ to spend on some beer, cigs, whatever your small guilty pleasures are. Take the time time support these historically biblical developers to create an even better game then it already is. I want to see Japanese style (if there are documents this would be so amazing) south american saber fighter More longswords for sure! Ah, this game is special. And im glad even though theres no other game out there like it on the market, every update the developers care gushes out like blood from an artery :p (ALSO ADD MORE GORE)
Not for me. The game is more fun watching other people play.
This game is ok, it needs tons of work though, There are plenty of bugs including (but not limited to) floating sword killing me after disarming enemy, "double" kill after slicing enemies throat (despite not being hit), my sword being less effective than the enemy (even when using the same character), graphics glitches such as my arm being stuck inside the enemy (the arm stretches across the screen, getting longer as the distance increases. Attacks are basically ineffective, death imminent), the feet looking "glued" more than they should be, and some lighting artifacts every once in a while. Otherwise, the game is fun, I expect better gameplay will come once the development is further along and with it being early access, I don't really fault it for having glitches. One last note, the AI enemies seem like they increase in difficulty randomly at times but this part could be a skill issue to be fair
