Hell Maiden

It's rough to write a review for an early access game because who knows what will change and I've only seen less than a 1/3 of it's contents, but I'll try to focus on what's important. Game runs and plays perfectly on Steam Deck, the art direction is gorgeous, and the core gameplay loop is rock solid. Only encountered one minor bug during gameplay with a mini-boss getting stuck walking one direction. Yes there's balancing issues with some weapons feeling pathetically weak but that's minor and quite fixable. My only major complaint on that front is apparently knock back is a stat but unlike every other stat does not get displayed on the stat screen for the weapon to indicate the weapon can benefit from it. The characters are charming, the humor did make me laugh out loud a couple times, and I appreciate the bravery to give cute girls ugly expressions. If there was anything to request from the devs, I'd appreciate a screen that shows records for highest scores, most damage on a weapon, etc. Furthermore, a screen where I can see all weapons/mod cards would be appreciated. Would make it easier to tell what I'm missing for some of the achievements. All in all, I quite look forward to seeing the devs polish up the game more. The future seems bright and even if it doesn't pan out, the games a fine 10 hours of fun as it currently is.

「弾幕」要素のあるヴァンサバ系ゲームで、全体的なビジュアルが良く、この手のゲームにしては珍しくストーリー性があり、操作も簡単なので遊びやすい。 典型的なヴァンサバ風のゲームに見えるが、「弾幕」要素があるので、理不尽な攻撃を回避したり、ローグライクにある周回要素もあり、ヴァンサバほどカジュアルじゃないので、購入を検討しているなら考慮する必要があり、ヴァンサバだと思って買わない方が良い。 ゲームの問題点として、仲間が増えるほどにビルドが組みにくくなるのに、仲間の人数を調整できない点。1ゲームのプレイ時間が12～15分なので、完成したビルドを楽しむ時間がなく、爽快感を得にくい点。ボスと戦う仕様上、ビルドがボス専用ビルドに偏ってしまう点。1+1が2ではなく1.5くらいな点などが挙げられ、早期アクセスっぽいゲームバランスである。 現状(v0.2.32)、2ステージ遊べるが、将来的には9ステージになりそうなので、ゲームが正常に完成するころには5000円くらいのボリュームになってそうなので、お買い得かもしれない。

Well First and foremost this game is gorgeous both with the classic anime style cutscenes and character art and the Pixel art for the characters in game. As this game is in early access I've only played the first 2 circles currently available to me and have tried out all the weapons from the 5 poets currently in the game alongside the 2 boss weapons you can unlock. The overall gameplay is fun its as the description apptly calls it a horde survival and deck builder mixed together I've had some issues with weapon balance for example one of dantes weapons is a flame aura that activates periodically around dante to hit nearby enemies this weapon overall is pretty weak and she has a similar weak weapon in the flame dash now this wouldn't be too bad but then I found out later on the poet you unlock in the 2nd circle her base weapon is a better version of the aura that is always active and she has a better flame dash that lasts longer and applies a wall the enemies can't pass through it makes me wonder what the point of dante's version of the weapons are when they are inferior in every way to the other poets one. so overall not every weapon is built equally. Now my problems with some of the weapons aside I did overall enjoy what little of the story is presented so far and I am eagerly looking forward to more of it as the games story has a pretty strong narrative hook. I do wish overall there was more cutscenes and conversations between the poets in between runs as the characters are all interesting and I want to see more of them. I truly believe this will be an amazing game once its out of early access and I recommend if you are at all interested to purchase it and try it out I for one will be eagerly awaiting updates.

🔥 Une énorme surprise ! 🎨 Une DA qui fonctionne à merveille J'aime énormément la direction artistique de Hell Maiden. Il y a ce petit côté rétro/pixel art qui me rappelle les anciens Final Fantasy, tout en ayant vraiment sa propre identité. 🎬 Et les cinématiques… INCROYAAAAABLES. Vraiment, elles sont magnifiques et donnent une ampleur assez folle à l'univers. Ajoutez à ça des doublages géniaux et des musiques absolument dingues, et l'ambiance fonctionne immédiatement. 🎵✨ ⚔️ Un Bullet Paradise qui ne se laisse VRAIMENT pas faire Je n'ai pour l'instant qu'environ 5 heures de jeu… et il m'en a fallu 4 pour réussir à terminer le niveau 1. 💀 (Merci Minos) Voilà. Je pense que ça résume assez bien la difficulté. J'ai déjà joué à plusieurs Bullet Paradise et Hell Maiden me paraît clairement plus difficile que la moyenne. Mais franchement, ce n'est pas pour me déplaire ! Ça apporte un vrai challenge et rend la progression beaucoup plus satisfaisante. 📖 L'histoire est probablement ce qui m'intrigue le plus L'univers semble gigantesque et j'ai vraiment envie d'en découvrir davantage. Il y a clairement quelque chose de beaucoup plus ambitieux derrière le simple prétexte scénaristique pour aller massacrer des hordes d'ennemis. Et surtout… 🔥 J'ai vraiment hâte de voir ce que l'histoire de Dante nous réserve. ❤️‍🔥 Pour l'instant, malgré mes pauvres 5 heures de jeu (dont 80 % passées à me faire humilier par le premier niveau 💀), Hell Maiden est une excellente découverte. Entre sa DA, ses musiques, ses doublages, ses cinématiques et son challenge, il possède déjà une vraie personnalité. 👍 Je recommande clairement !

局外很肝每次通关提升不明显，预计25小时肝满，类神明角色给的卡一半有用一半纯污染卡池，包括给的buff5%5%5%的，第二层的难度属于是第一层的两倍多，更硬更快更疼数量更多，近战那些超近射程的卡属于烂完了，射速弹量永远不够多不够明显。 抄游戏就抄个壳，缺点拉满，抽到什么奖励都没有爽感
