Fun game with a lot of different enemies/quests wich is good for replayability. Need more general goal (win condition) only 3.
I've only played this game 1p but it's been a fun/addicting puzzle with replayability! Combo spells and fighting power to defeat enemies and fulfill quests. I've beaten the first level, but can't for the life of me beat the second one. I keep on trying though, so that's a good sign!
The game is a riot with all of the comedy events and items. That is, when you can play it. I have tried multiple times with my friends to play using the Steam Remote Play, and with one person connecting, it is decent but is still the equivalent of watching TV on a satellite connection during a snow storm in the 90's. Having two people connect, that is just absurd. Unless the host is running on a fiber optic line, there is no way for the Steam Remote Play option to be viable. It would be amazing if a client-to-client option was available to get around the remote play downside.

whish it had a bigger community and really good content in mods etc. - the game is great for a coop evening w friends. we all really liked it. too bad theres no more content coming
gf and I play it and have a great time, simple as In all seriousness I think Ludosity has made a great game that's extremely fun to play with a group. It hits a great balance between fun/silly/random encounters and actual strategy. I hope more people get into it and there's more mods to play in the future.
(Played on couch-coop, 2 players, with xbox controllers.) This party game has some fresh originality the kind I have not seen in a while. In short : it's some kinda of JRPG-board game hybrid, with humor (and monsters) straight from the Ittle Dew universe. If you're intrigued by the concept, then please do try it! Some people say it's the mario party of jprg, yes I can see why they would say that. This game sometimes feels like a crazy prototype. It's certainly an original idea, and I want to try all the scenarios. It's not easy on the first try, you might need a few attempts at first. We sure did, we played this with 2 players. This game has a workshop, but I actually don't see a lot of workshop items! I don't think this game is very popular, that's too bad, and that makes it an actual and literal hidden gem. EDIT : i wanted to add a bit. I recently played Dokapon Kingdom. Obviously the games have similarities, but Heartwood Heroes is soooo much better. For one, Heartwood Heroes emphasizes cooperation, when Dokapon straight up prevents it. The writing in Heartwood Heroes is definitely much more fun, if you're into its style (which I am) And Heartwood Heroes is more respectful of your time, one complet game can take one hour, when the story mode in Dokapon Kingdom can literally take days if not weeks. The Dokapon battle gameplay kinda feels better though, but perhaps they are similar in the end.
Ludosity games all have 2 things in common: great humor and great art. This one does not disappoint, still within the same universe, but their single player content is a lot better in my opinion...
This is just great if you are looking for a game you can play with the family, my 5 year old loves it, its shorter length is great for a quick adventure before bedtime, and the customisation game options for tweaking the difficulty is spot on, which means we can continue to enjoy this board game for years to come. Thanks for making this gem of game!
