About
He Who Watches is an atmospheric first-person puzzle game that tasks you with navigating a seemingly impossible structure. Grapple with spatial reasoning and shifts in perspective to solve mind-bending puzzle chambers in a mysterious puzzle-platformer where every surface is a possible pathway.
Your bow is not a weapon, but a puzzle-solving tool used to manipulate your environment. Together with a single, magical arrow, you can open doors, move blocks, activate switches, and pull yourself across gaps with its magical chain.
Walk on walls. Walk on ceilings. Shift gravity as you slip between these planes, creating chain reactions to find the correct path forward. Patience and persistence are key to unlocking each solution.
What lies at the heart of this ancient labyrinth? How vast is this enigmatic structure? He Who Watches is full of secret paths, hidden mechanics, and cryptic symbols that invite you to look closer. Seek the imprisoned god at the centre. He is waiting.

Reviews
Makes you rethink how you approach space in games. The only critique is that the difficulty ramp for optional puzzles is a bit steep.

Excellent game! I love these mechanics and the puzzles are really very good. I was planning on only playing for maybe a couple hours and ended up playing pretty much the whole weekend. As someone who gets motion sickness from first person games, I appreciate the settings that allow instant rotations. They really helped and after about the first hour, I was completely fine. Can't wait to dig in more and discover more secrets!
Great puzzler. You don't get much first-person stuff, but this uses it to perfect effect. A very small number of building blocks that combine into a rather high number of mechanical interactions (like Stephen's Sausage Roll, or Can of Wormholes). Looks gorgeous too, with its styled motifs (especially eyes) present everywhere. Though a minor complaint about that, at a certain progression point a few new features are added to the walls everywhere, which I think makes things look messier. Wish there were a way to undo that. Of course, we all know that nowadays having good puzzles isn't enough for your average puzzle game fan — you need some sort of metapuzzle stuff, maybe a metroidbrania-style mechanic where once you've learned it you can use it all over the place. I'm pleased to report that He Who Watches has what we crave in this. Overall, very good puzzle game. Clearly a lot of work went into setting the mood of the game, and it pays off well. Getting 100% will be a real pain, but I suppose that's a good thing.
Very fun. Figuring out solution, that requires to abandon real world logic, is really rewarding.
Takes a minute to get going (this coming from someone who spends an inordinate amount of time thinking about discrete subgroups of SO(3)) but when it gets going it's such a perfectly crafted, one-of-its-kind puzzle game. Definitely pick this up if you're a puzzling fan looking for something fresh + somewhat enjoy thinking about 3D space/spatial reasoning
This game is awesome. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun puzzle game mixed with a dungeon crawler mashup. If you liked and played games like portal back in the day, try this one out for sure. I played for what felt like 20 minutes but apparently it was two hours, haven't had a game suck me in like this for a while. 10/10
