Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This had so much potential. I fell in love with the demo and was so excited for the release. The demo had A LOT less bugs than the release, even though the "updated" the demo and somehow added the bugs to it just before launch. But, they were actively trying to fix the bugs...until they sold the game. I only found out about it in the one discord post that the posted. No other comments. And, of course, all the updates stopped and there were still bugs that had been mentioned multiple times in the discord and in the bug reports. Don't give PlayWay any more money by buying this game.
I'm pretty on the fence about recommending this game or not. While I had a lot of fun and got a good amount of play time out of it, there are a TON of bugs. The last two levels are borderline unplayable and it doesn't look like the devs are patching the game regularly. That being said, I still had fun. Just wish it was still being improved.

I would like a refund, this game is honestly really complicated, buggy and boring
Franchement si le jeu n'avait pas été aussi mal codé, il aurait pu être incroyable. N'achetez pas cette bouse !
I'm really not sure if I should recommend this game. On one hand, I love the vibes of the game, the theming is great, the hauntings are inventive, and it's extremely satisfying to fix up the haunted locations and puzzle out how to banish the ghosts. On the other, I find progress I've made sometimes unravels when I'm not looking, and I really don't think what I'm seeing is intentional. At my home base, it's asking me to banish hauntings that have already been defeated, and the controls can be kinda clunky. It's not enough to put me off the game, I'm still enjoying it, but I can see this being a source of frustration for others. Since recommendation is a binary, I'll put it as recommended for now, but you should be aware of the issues before you put money down.
Can't finish the tutorial because it stays stuck at "Customize the wallpaper" and no matter what I do, it doesn't register that I opened the menu and did the thing... Sadly, as a Kickstarter backer, I'm not entitled to a refund, otherwise, I would 1000% refund the game.
Haunted House Renovator, developed by Image Power S.A. and published by PlayWay S.A. alongside Image Power S.A., is a hybrid simulation experience that combines the methodical satisfaction of home renovation with the unpredictability of supernatural encounters. It takes the familiar structure of cleaning and rebuilding ruined spaces and injects it with paranormal elements, creating a gameplay loop that alternates between calm restoration and light tension. The core gameplay revolves around entering abandoned, haunted properties and transforming them into functional, livable spaces. Players are tasked with removing debris, repairing damage, repainting surfaces, and furnishing interiors, following a progression similar to other renovation simulators. The appeal of this loop lies in the visible transformation of each location, as neglected environments gradually become clean and organized. This sense of improvement is inherently rewarding, providing a steady stream of small accomplishments that build toward a completed project. What distinguishes the game is the presence of supernatural entities that actively interfere with this process. Ghosts and other paranormal phenomena introduce unexpected challenges, ranging from minor disruptions to more complex interactions that require specific tools or actions to resolve. Players can approach these encounters in different ways, whether by removing the entities, working around them, or engaging with them directly. This system adds variety to the otherwise routine tasks of renovation, ensuring that each location feels slightly different and preventing the experience from becoming entirely predictable. The interplay between these systems creates a unique rhythm. Periods of quiet, focused work are occasionally interrupted by supernatural events, shifting the tone and forcing players to adapt. When this balance works well, it enhances the overall experience, making the process of restoration feel more dynamic. However, the execution of these mechanics is not always consistent. The rules governing ghost interactions can sometimes be unclear, leading to moments where progress depends more on trial and error than on intuitive problem-solving. Over time, the limitations of the gameplay loop become more noticeable. While the initial concept is engaging, the renovation mechanics themselves do not evolve significantly, and tasks can begin to feel repetitive as players move through multiple properties. The paranormal elements, while creative, also lack depth in some cases, reducing their long-term impact. As a result, the experience can lose some of its novelty during extended play sessions, particularly for players seeking deeper systems or more varied challenges. Technical and design issues further affect the overall experience. Controls and object placement can feel imprecise, especially when handling detailed decoration or positioning items within confined spaces. Occasional bugs and inconsistencies in interactions can disrupt the flow, turning what should be a relaxing activity into a source of frustration. The interface, while functional, does not always provide the level of clarity needed to navigate more complex tasks efficiently. Pacing is somewhat uneven as well. Early stages introduce multiple systems in quick succession, which can feel overwhelming before players have fully adjusted to the mechanics. Later on, the game settles into a more predictable pattern, where the cycle of cleaning, repairing, and dealing with supernatural disturbances repeats with limited variation. This structure works best in shorter sessions, where the core loop remains engaging without becoming overly repetitive. Visually, the game adopts a grounded and practical style that supports its gameplay. Environments effectively convey the contrast between decay and restoration, making the transformation of each property feel tangible. While the visual presentation is not particularly distinctive, it serves its purpose well, providing clear feedback on progress. Audio design plays a more significant role in shaping the atmosphere, with ambient sounds and subtle cues reinforcing the presence of unseen entities and maintaining a sense of tension. Ultimately, Haunted House Renovator is defined by its creative premise and its attempt to merge two distinct genres into a cohesive experience. It succeeds in offering a fresh take on renovation simulators, adding just enough unpredictability to keep the gameplay interesting. However, its lack of depth, technical inconsistencies, and repetitive structure prevent it from fully realizing its potential. For players who enjoy simulation games and are open to a light supernatural twist, it offers an enjoyable, if imperfect, experience that is best appreciated in moderate doses. Rating: 6/10
DON'T BUY IT! This game is such a fun concept, and the story is actually kinda neat. But the actual gameplay is so buggy that I can't in good conscious recommend buying it. The game itself is fairly different from the demo, mechanics wise, and the actual game has so many bugs and glitches that it's a chore just to get through one contract. If the bugs were getting fixed I'd recommend it, but the dev's have been absent from this title for months... I played through the whole game, but only because I hate not finishing stuff. It's such a shame that the game has so many issues, because when it's not glitching out, it's fun.
I had high hopes for this game after playing demo but the way this game was made makes you feel like you constantly run into bugs etc but then you realise that you just didnt do something correctly. Like fixing fuse box, it seems simple but it took me several minutes (closer to 10) before i realised i need to first use fix the whole thing before i interact with the box and then fix it from inside.
