Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery

Very glitchy! The game is fun, annoying when you run out of energy but that’s beside the point. Every time I open the app it takes over a minute to load in, plus when I am in and I want to switch locations it’s the same thing where I’m on the loading screen for minutes. If I try to play the game and I switch locations too much it just kicks me out completely and it’s like I never did what I was doing before I get kicked out. After I get kicked out I have to re load in and it’s takes really long again. Now for the past couple days I’ve wanted to play but whenever I open the app it loads for thirty seconds and then kicks me out! I can’t even play. Please fix this!

More Space for tappable items and other matters I have run out of space for items I can tap to get more energy. Make some more room in either the room/flat or secret clubhouse! Also in the magical creatures reserve, when are they going to provide the Occamy, Erumpent, Phoenix, and the Romanian Longhorn dragon? Lastly, is it too much to ask for an achievement quest for me to propose and marry Penny?😡

Fix the energy system pls I love Harry Potter, and I think they did a great job with the designs in this game. The only complaints I have are about the energy system. I really really hope they keep it at 2min for every 1 point of energy, because 4min is completely unreasonable. It can take forever to get through storylines, simply because of the energy running out. At the same time, some of the side quests are timed, so you’re battling against the clock while waiting for energy to refill. It’s really annoying when you wait 2hrs for your energy to fill up, then have to waste it all in one tasks. Either increase the amount of energy you can get, or decrease the amount it takes to get through tasks, because having to spend 40+ energy on ONE conversation is absurd. It honestly takes away from the game when you’re constantly trying to conserve the energy. Overall though, I like the game and all the different things you can do. I just wish the energy system wasn’t a ploy to get you to spend real money on the game.

Hogwarts Mystery! 🪄 This HAS to be the most addicting game I have ever played. I am a Potterhead for sure, watched all the movies and read all the books! This game lets me experience how it feels to be in the Wizarding World, which is pretty exciting! There are many ways to customize your character and it has an interesting storyline that has me hooked. There is one downside though..the energy (or whatever it’s called) takes pretty long to refill. I’m fine with watching ads but I would love if they made us wait 2 mins (or 1 min!) per energy point! I would also love for them to have more ways to earn diamonds besides paying money to get more.

It became unplayable I don't know what you've done to the game, but for the last couple of weeks, it's been completely unplayable. First, it constantly lags — screens freeze, and it's especially annoying during moments when you have to do a mini-game between stars. Because of this, it's impossible to use the unlimited lives boost you purchase for a limited time, since you lose so much time just waiting for the game to stop stuttering. Second, progress doesn't save — for example, I reached 3 out of 5 stars on a task, ran out of energy, exited the game, and came back an hour later to find only one star, or something like that. So you end up losing progress for no reason, which is especially painful during time-limited tasks. Third, I still have 2 adventures from the Hogwarts era that I've never completed, and I can't finish them — they never show up randomly, and they haven't for years, and there's no way to select them in the Memory Book. Fourth, my phone (and I have an iPhone 17) gets so hot that it literally burns my hands. And finally, the number of pop-up screens is starting to get really irritating. Especially if, for example, you've bought unlimited lives for a limited time — by the time you close all of them, your time is already up, and that's it. It feels like you didn't optimize the game at all, and now it just doesn't work properly. The gaming experience is simply unbearable right now — I don't even feel like playing anymore. Every time I open the game, it's torture. And I love this game — I even buy some boosts, energy, and so on. But sometimes I just want to delete it and never touch it again because of this experience, when the game keeps freezing and it's impossible to play.

Darn! Quit in less than day. The game seems ok, but I didn’t play it for long. As others have said the energy thing is bizarre. You only have a certain amount of time (real life time) to complete a task. But you don’t have enough energy to complete it right then. That means you have to keep coming back to the game to finish the task before it times out. For example, you may have to complete it in one hour or maybe 8 hours, but if you just play in the morning before doing stuff and don’t get back to the game before the task times out you have to start over. I actually have a life, so I can’t keep coming back to the game throughout the day trying to finish a task.

No longer playable The latest update, I think about a month ago, has now made the game unplayable. I am not the only one either. Unless you have about 2 gig free in your phone and probably also a very new model, you will not be able to play due to the extreme lag time and freezes. I presume this is because goal is to get you to pay. Fine. BUT they have become so greedy, they have completely overloaded the game with way too many rewards and tickets streaks, each with its own payable upgrade, as well as various quest replays and side games. At this point, a simple talk with friend in 3 broomsticks takes me about 10 minutes due to the freezing and lag and an hour to do one of the basic 3 star quests. They have simply made the game too big for the average phone, in an attempt to get more money. Only app on my phone that no longer works and I have over a gig free. Won’t be buying a new phone when this works fine, so goodbye game.
