Looks great and really unique movement mechanics. Really solid attention to detail everywhere. Definitely worth checking out if you want a different kind of platformer.
A fun game that has great aesthetics and some outstanding music!
Quick Score: 4/5 Notes: Fun movement and banger soundtrack. Game is bit tedious and repetitive though. There are 40 levels, and the difficulty only mildly increase from start to finish with very few meaningful mechanics introduced. The aesthetic pretty much stays exactly the same and the levels start to all feel pretty much the same. Would only recommend on sale and only if you are looking for a chill collectathon type game. Also avoid if you are an achievement focused person because half of the achievements in this game seem to be broken or missable. Update: dev is going to fix achievements.

Harlow is such a charming and heartwarming game, with beautiful visuals and music that you'll want to keep playing even when you're done gaming. I love the storyline and the "it's going to be okay" theme of the game. I'm not someone that usually likes platformers, but the calm aesthetic, soundtrack, and simple mechanics makes Harlow a platformer that leans more cozy than adrenaline pumping (exactly my preferred type of game). The robots are so cute with hilarious dialog (I'm a foodie myself), and the unlockables are so unique that I am always excited to research the next thing for the ship. Not quite done with the game yet, but looking forward to seeing how it all ends <3 Highly recommended, even if you don't think you're a platformer type gamer usually. A+!
Harlow is such a beautifully made game! The colors, soundtrack, and physics-filled goodies make this a really immersive vibe-y experience. 10/10
I love everything about this game... except for the buggy controls. The throw arc constantly gets caught on surfaces, especially water. In the earlier levels this isn't too much of a problem, but when you get to the later platforming heavy layers, it becomes impossible. The level I gave up is one with a number or turrets that throw circular bombs to the right. The second I get near one of the turrets, the controls just stop working, regardless of it being your first throw. With the bugs fixed, this would be a great little platformer.
I love the casual platform puzzles. The music is so relaxing. Yet the interactions are energetic. So well made!
Some of the worst checkpointing you will ever see. There is nothing more dispiriting than threading the needle through three insane sets of obstacles in a row, then having a randomized and impossible-to-predict item in the environment come out of nowhere and take you out, sending you all the way back to repeat the three previous obstacles. Screw that, and this game.
The difficulty ramp wasn't too fast, the title is arcade-y and easy enough to pick up when you find a few minutes to whittle at the next puzzle, without too much punishment for failures and without an obnoxiously exploitative/overly-addicting core game loop. The physics on the ball feel satisfying, even when just stumbling through the first ten stages ("I get a double jump? But hitting some surfaces resets to quad jumps? But then some sidewalls don't reset the counter and I'm limited to just the double jump?") and the sound design really ties it all together for me, making the thing feel satisfying and giving weight to the movements. Soundtrack was charming and felt like it egged on the gameplay. I would DEFINITELY recommend playing with a controller. Mechanics were just a slight bit wonky when starting with keyboard and mouse, as the game could autonomously reset my angry-birds-slingshot-style (rear aiming and firing) back to the forward-facing-trajectory-style (front aiming and firing). That or I compulsively mash my spacebar. Either way, controller felt more natural.
Such a fun game. Nice and chill. #LitoGang4Lyfe
