Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

For some folks, their stress relief game is something like Starview Valley, or something similar, but not for me. This game is my Zenlike stress reliever. Slowly breaking apart spaceships into their component parts, and throwing those parts into their proper receptacle has given me great joy, and calm. I mean, sure, you can accidentally shoot your laser at a fuel tank, or nuclear reactor and BOOM, or you can fire your thrusters too hard and yeet yourself into the metal furnace, but that's part of the joy of safety, and staying 'on task'. Sure the working conditions would give any OSHA Inspector nightmares (That's like a Health and Safety Officer to you folks from across the pond.) , but what's a worksite without a few missing limbs. I love the various ship designs, and how each has their own problems, and quirks. Love the game, and highly recomend it.
The gameplay loop is insanely fun. The story is interesting, but can get a bit annoying on replays. The game is fun, even if it could have been continued further.
mind numbing goodnes
Hardspace: Shipbreaker is such a unique experience. Scrapping spaceships might sound boring, but the tension, physics, and planning make every cut satisfying. There’s a real sense of accomplishment when you salvage a ship efficiently without blowing yourself up. The progression system and job variety keep it fresh, and it’s surprisingly relaxing once you get into the groove. Highly recommend for anyone who likes methodical, hands-on games.
i love to play this while watching youtube.
