Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A fun platformer with a variety of game levels, where we have to overcome various obstacles, such as spikes, falling platforms and flying blades, and the use of a double jump adds dynamics to the gameplay, allowing us to find unique routes to achieve the goal. Pleasant graphics and dynamic gameplay will add fun to our passage of the game.
Хардкордная игрулька для любителей преодолевать препятствия, ловушки, шипы и много прыгать.
A Dance With Spikes and Shadows
There's something quietly beautiful about games that refuse to hold your hand. Hardcore and Death doesn't just challenge your reflexes - it asks you to memorize failure, to learn the rhythm of traps and pitfalls until your fingers move without thinking. You're not fighting the game; you're learning its language, one death at a time. The core loop is deceptively simple: run, jump, survive. But simplicity here is a razor's edge. Every screen hides spikes waiting to impale you, gaps demanding pixel-perfect timing, and environmental hazards that punish hesitation as harshly as recklessness. Checkpoints are sparse by design, forcing you to weigh risk against progress. Yet this isn't cruelty for its own sake - each successful run feels earned, a small victory carved from repeated defeat.
What makes it click

✅ Minimalist visuals that prioritize clarity - you always know why you died.
✅ Tight, responsive controls that never betray your intentions.
✅ A haunting ambient soundtrack that swells with tension during tough sequences.
✅ Genuine sense of progression as muscle memory takes over.
✅ Respects your time with instant respawns and no filler content.

The price of purity

❌ Unforgiving difficulty will frustrate players seeking casual relaxation.
❌ Limited variety in level design can feel repetitive over long sessions.
❌ Sparse narrative means atmosphere carries the entire emotional weight.
❌ Trial-and-error gameplay may feel archaic to those accustomed to guided experiences.

Final thoughts
This isn't a game for everyone, and it knows it. Hardcore and Death embraces its identity without apology. There's a strange meditation in its repetition - the way a section that once felt impossible gradually becomes second nature. You stop seeing obstacles and start seeing patterns. That transformation, that moment when frustration melts into flow, is the real reward. If you're willing to die repeatedly for the sake of mastery, you'll find a stark, uncompromising experience that lingers long after you've conquered its final challenge.
If you like games with improved graphics, good mechanics and an interesting plot, I recommend looking for other projects. Hardcore and Death is far from the best solution for fans of high–quality gameplay.
The game captivates with its atmosphere and tense gameplay: large levels, tricky traps, and the need to remember patterns make every run a challenge.
Hardcore and Death, developed and published by ZERO5GAMES, is a precision-driven indie platformer that fully commits to its name. It is a game built around challenge, repetition, and mastery, offering a stripped-down yet demanding experience that tests reflexes, patience, and pattern recognition. Rather than leaning on narrative complexity or expansive world-building, it focuses almost entirely on delivering a tightly structured sequence of hazardous levels where survival depends on skill and persistence. The premise is simple but effective: the world’s final source of life is fading, and the only way to prevent complete darkness is to reach the mysterious Heart before the light dies out. This sense of urgency is reflected directly in gameplay. Players must navigate large, multi-layered stages filled with spikes, moving blades, collapsing platforms, and other lethal traps. Movement is built on straightforward mechanics—running, jumping, and a crucial double jump—but these basic tools are placed within environments that demand near-perfect timing. Every action must be deliberate, and mistakes are punished swiftly. Level design is where Hardcore and Death asserts its identity. Stages are expansive yet compactly dangerous, often offering multiple paths toward the objective. This non-linear structure encourages experimentation and route optimization. Some players may attempt to find safer paths, while others will push for speed and efficiency. However, the placement of hazards ensures that no route feels trivial. Checkpoints are intentionally sparse, forcing players to replay segments after failure. This design choice reinforces the trial-and-error loop that defines the experience. Success comes not from brute force but from memorizing trap patterns and refining movement precision through repetition. The difficulty is unapologetic. Hardcore and Death does not attempt to cushion players with forgiving mechanics or extensive tutorials. Instead, it assumes a willingness to learn through failure. This can be exhilarating for players who enjoy overcoming punishing challenges, as each successful run through a previously impossible section feels genuinely earned. At the same time, the steep difficulty curve may alienate those seeking a more relaxed platforming experience. The balance between challenge and frustration will depend largely on individual tolerance for repetition. Visually, the game adopts a clean pixel-art style that emphasizes clarity over decoration. Hazards are clearly distinguishable, platforms are readable, and environmental elements avoid unnecessary clutter. The aesthetic evokes classic retro platformers, relying on sharp contrasts and simple yet effective animations to communicate danger. While the art direction does not strive for elaborate detail, it serves the gameplay effectively by ensuring that players can quickly assess their surroundings during high-speed sequences. The audio design remains functional and restrained. Background music supports the tense atmosphere without overpowering the action, and sound effects provide immediate feedback for jumps, collisions, and environmental triggers. The audio’s primary role is clarity, ensuring players can rely on cues during precise maneuvers. Although the soundtrack may not be particularly memorable, it complements the game’s focused, challenge-oriented tone. One of the defining strengths of Hardcore and Death is its clarity of purpose. It does not attempt to blend genres or introduce elaborate progression systems. Instead, it delivers a concentrated platforming challenge where mastery of movement is the ultimate goal. The inclusion of achievements and small performance milestones adds extra motivation for players who enjoy full completion, but the primary reward remains the satisfaction of conquering difficult levels. Ultimately, Hardcore and Death stands as a compact yet demanding indie platformer that appeals to fans of precision-based gameplay. Its combination of straightforward mechanics, punishing level design, and retro presentation creates an experience rooted in discipline and repetition. While it may not provide narrative depth or mechanical variety, it succeeds in delivering a focused test of skill. For players who thrive on learning from failure and gradually mastering intricate obstacle courses, it offers a rewarding and uncompromising challenge. Rating: 7/10
