A tough and manly little game, I love the fact that we get to play as Saxons defending their homes from the foul Danes. Vikings have been romanticized far too much lately in my opinion. I don't like invaders, I don't like bullies. A couple of things that I think could be improved upon: 1. Although the format of "bard telling the tale" is charming I think the game could really do without it. I think it takes away from the dire nail biting scenario of standing your ground together with a few good men (whose names you know) against many brutes. It makes the scenario a bit tongue in cheek which it shouldn't be. The combat is gritty and unforgiving, make the whole tone that way. 2. It could use a bit more terrain variation. -> If I try to go with gear and medicine instead of many reinforcements I get overwhelmed in no time. 3. The AI is a bit strange; what I mean here is that most enemies just charge you straight forward while their captains go off on their own and try to flank you. This way they dawdle around and usually get to you much later than the rest of their force and are usually the last guys standing and than easily killed. Would be much more challenging to have these tough opponents actually leading their formations. 4. Finally, I want more! I had a bite and it was great. I can't wait to see more campaigns and scenarios. Large battles would also be a delight. I'd gladly be willing to pay more for this, either as another game or as dlc. I understand that providing more content for an 8€ game might be a bit daunting for you. Making a sequel would be the best way to go in my opinion. Cheers, thanks for this little gem.

beautiful combat, too much fun cant wait to see to the future with this game.
The game is nowhere near to complete, nor close to what is described. Lots of bugs even in tutorial. No tactical approach, even if it is described so. Very cheap but not recommended.
In less than 10 minutes I quit. Sorry, but we need to be able to map WASD to up/left/down/right arrows for left handed players who use a mouse in their left hand and therefore can't use WASD keys. Also, during the tutorial, there were instructions on how to switch to secondary weapon, but not how to revert back to primary weapon. Sorry, these are game killers for me. I will hang on to this game as it looks promising, and I like to support Indie Devs. I hope it improves. I am following it now, and I will try it again in a few months, if I see any updates.
Good fun, deceptively simple, but there is plenty to master.
it’s a nice game, but Can we consider Chinese so that its market response is better?
Nice game, interesting. But I think there is a huge problem. That is, those short weapons like swords or axes, they are useless in this game. Yes, they exist, but useless. I have tried to equip them into my team for many times. Finally, I found that no matter how to order them, I still suffer higher casualty rates than a full spears team when my team has some shorter weapon users. So, why do we need them? why do these weapons exist in this game?
Demo made me buy the game at full price, wich is still low mind it. Excited to see how this develops. Combat feels brutal. Looking forward for more. Thumbs up for now.
Bit to short but looking forward to updates etc as potential is big
The game is interesting but little to no progress has been made on it. It also feels like it lacks content for me personally. I would not recommned purchasing this game unless that overhaul comes out. The dev did post progress of this some time in 2022, but I would avoid purchasing this game unless that happens. I don't want to say that the is abandoned as i feel it is too soon to say that... but when will we get that overhaul? I think if we don't see it by sept of 2024 then I would start to say it has been abandoned by then. For now save your money, yes it is about $10 but I don't see the game being worth this much, more of $5 right now.
