Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of my favorite games to play while in online meetings
Hack, Slash, Loot is a minimalist old school style of Roguelike that lets you select from a variety of fantasy trope characters like the Human Wizard and Elf Ranger as well as selecting the self contained quest or scenario for your adventure. The game has the surface elements of classical Rogue design with everything being turn based, set on a grid, and challenging you to navigate levels, kill creatures, collect loot, drink coloured potions, and upgrade your hero. Under the surface it lacks any of the nuance or charisma that these games normally use to keep you around. The combat is heavily reliant on RNG which makes it an utter crap shoot if you're going to survive each encounter. The levels are linear and the same every time you play which is kinda antithetical to the genre. There's little reward when you do succeed and no motivation to continue because there's no skill involved with your survival. It checks all the genre boxes but doesn't do any work to add substance to the game. Worse than that it is un-fun. From start to finish there's no fanfare, no innovation, no creativity - it's just a lesser version of everything we've seen before from this genre.

Какая же лютая хрень! Это не рогалик, КАКОЙ ТУТ развитие!.
A very enjoyable game that's worth your time and money if you enjoy the thrill of a high-rng-based roguelike with a nice aesthetic and easy-to-learn systems.
Cannot do anything. No keyboard keys work. No mouse clicks work. Nothing I'm trying is allowing my character to take any actions or even move. There is no options menu to set controls, so that's out. The website that's supposed to teach you how to play is missing the video teaching you how to play (I'm not kidding!). Even the keybinds mentioned at the very bottom of the page (because why would you need to know the controls?) don't even work. My keyboard is obviously plugged in and functional - I'm writing this, after all. My mouse is on. I can resize the window and zoom in and out with keyboard controls, so the game is aware that there is a keyboard active with this computer. It's just that nothing works. I cannot recommend a game that doesn't work and has no obvious way to make it work. Do not buy. The developer clearly does not even support the game anymore, so don't let your money support him.
we need chinese, we need chinese, we need chinese.
Points that need improvement: - Add interactive inventory. - improve round battle. - Have a tutorial. - Improve the controls, which are confusing. Until these points are fixed, don't waste your time on this.
Global Stats at the time of writing:

Total Player Deaths - 11276782
Total Successful Quests - 16292
The game is minimal to a fault. It's not simply that we're at the mercy of RNG, the whole thing is incredibly unbalanced. You can see from the stats above that having a successful run is incredibly unlikely. Because this is a traditional roguelike (vs a rogue-lite) there's nothing to be gained from those failures either. Also, the UI is unwieldy and the art is squished. I had many, many deaths myself with no way to deploy any strategy or skill to affect my chance of success. The best part of my playtime was unlocking the points shop for the goblin king.
Hack Slash Loot: A Challenging Roguelike Adventure Review: Hack Slash Loot is a challenging roguelike game that immerses players in a perilous journey through dungeons and dangerous realms. While it offers a unique and intriguing concept, it falls short in certain areas, earning it a 3/5 rating from me. One of the strengths of Hack Slash Loot is its deep and complex gameplay mechanics. Players must navigate procedurally generated dungeons, strategically plan their moves, and engage in turn-based combat with a variety of enemies. The game encourages exploration and experimentation, as each playthrough offers a different experience. The retro-inspired pixel art style of Hack Slash Loot adds a nostalgic charm to the game. The detailed character sprites and atmospheric environments create a visually appealing experience. Additionally, the haunting soundtrack enhances the sense of immersion, contributing to the game's overall ambiance. However, Hack Slash Loot has its drawbacks. The difficulty level can be overwhelming, especially for newcomers to the roguelike genre. The random nature of the game's dungeons and loot can result in frustratingly unfair encounters, making progress feel like a test of luck rather than skill. The lack of clear objectives or a strong narrative direction may also leave some players feeling aimless or disconnected from the game's world. Furthermore, the user interface and controls in Hack Slash Loot can be clunky and unintuitive. Navigating menus and managing inventory can be cumbersome, detracting from the overall gameplay experience. Additionally, the game lacks in-depth tutorials or explanations, which may make it difficult for players to grasp its mechanics fully. Despite its flaws, Hack Slash Loot still offers a challenging and rewarding experience for fans of the roguelike genre. The thrill of uncovering powerful loot, defeating formidable enemies, and overcoming the ever-present danger of permadeath can be enticing for those seeking a true test of skill. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ A Challenging Roguelike Adventure: Hack Slash Loot offers a deep and complex gameplay experience set in a retro-inspired world. While its difficulty, lack of guidance, and clunky controls may hinder enjoyment for some, fans of the genre will find a satisfying challenge in its perilous dungeons and unpredictable encounters.
The most frustrating game ever - so random and imbalanced that I doubt I will finish one game ever
