Gunhead is a fast paced strategic roguelike FPS where you take the role of a pirate mech with a gun for a head, looting derelict spaceships filled with monstrous drones made out of bone and steel. Sequel to the 2d roguelite Cryptark.

HOLY GUACAMOLE IS THAT JEREMY ELBERTSON
Cool idea, but the execution is kinda uninspired. It kinda gets boring after a few ships and I can't really tell why that is. I would have to play more to really put it into words, you see the dilemma? Seriously though, it's just tedious and repetitive busywork in what feels like the same terribly designed room over and over again.
Abandonware on launch; unfortunate.

Not as fun as the original "Cryptark" which I highly recommend This had potential, some of which was achieved, but a very mediocore experience indeed
How does this game have 1.) "Mixed" reviews and 2.) barely anyone playing it? It's pretty great. I was a fan of Cryptark and this is definitely a major step up. (They should have called it Cryptark 2: GUNHEAD or something, though.) The only bug I encountered so far is I got slammed into the hull so hard I clipped through it, then got stuck. I was able to get unstuck but still not sure if it was all my spamming jump/dodge keys, or if the game detected it after a bit and released me. I'm like one of maybe six people in the world who were a fan of Air Fortress for the NES back in the day, and these games are basically spiritual successors to Air Fortress (minus the shmup segments)
I've had my fun with it, I might play it more sometime. I don't think I have much time for roguelites anymore though. Jeremy Elbertson's voice acting is at its best here. I had no idea he was playing the Client til I checked the credits. That Client's a pretty chilling performance from the man!
vuruş hissi yok, düşmanı öldürdüğümü patlamasa anlamayacağım bile
It's alright mechanically but the presentation is not particularly exciting or interesting.
(please play your games before the first two weeks of buying it so you have a chance of refund) It hurts me to write this review. I do not know what happened to Alientrap this time. This is barely related to Cryptark. The formula is not the same. The FPS gameplay does not feel good. because there is not gravity the gameplay is very confusing. The 3D models feel cheap. I can keep mentioning things that are not ok. One of the things I am guessing is that this is apparently the work of another team. This is a good example why devs should always provide a demo for the game
Fun gunplay, excellent movement physics. Maps get repetitive pretty quickly. Types of guns handle very differently, but they get stale: there's a scattershot gun for every type, a rapid-fire gun of every type, a slow-but-high-damage gun of every type, etc. Fun enough, but wait for a sale.
