For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Such a good game! Great controls, fun graphics, cool music, has that classic NES / SNES vibe. Reminds me of something "Angry Video Game Nerd" would play (I promise that's not an insult!) I say that because while the game has amazing controls and is nearly flawless in what it's trying to achieve, it is HARD. Hard as dinosaur sh*t!

I was honestly not expecting this game to be as fun and as brutally hard as it is. I've been burnt out from the games I've been playing in my backlog and Gundroid was something I haven't experienced in quite a while. I've been a big fan of games like Metroid, Contra and Gunstar Heroes. Even if it may look like another Shoot 'Em Up Gundroid brings the retro feeling of those 2D shooters with a modern twist and genuinely fun and innovative gameplay mechanics. It was clear to me as I played that Kitogoru games knew what they were doing, and were passionate about it. Although I sometimes wished you could aim 360 while moving, Gundroid isn't about high paced movement like Metroid Dread, but more about good positioning and dodging with your dash and sometimes jump, as if it's a soulslike game, which feels unique and fresh in the current game market. Although being used to the more modern Shoot 'Em UP games, Gundroid made me relive how it felt to play a game like Megaman 2. It is short with 6 levels, but like in Megaman 2, perfecting them and finishing them in both normal and hard difficulty is something that will take you a couple of hours. Some of the highlights for me were the first boss design and how it made you master dodging and positioning and the helicopter fight which was brutally challenging. Every stage felt like a new idea was thrown at you and I was hooked to see what was next. I've had the opportunity to talk with the developers during Vienna Game City 2025, and they were incredibly nice and informative about their development of their game. And even though I was gifted the game through the developers, I would've bought this game if I had the money. Celeste, Hollow Knight and Undertale might be known indie gems, but Kitogoru games share the same passion for games as these other creators and deserve all the support we can give them as a community and I will be checking out their other game in their encyclopedia "Atomic Owl" and am looking forward to more unique experiences they decide to cook up.
It gave me the feel of playing the classic Contra. With a hint of probotector. Love it!
A very well done love letter to Contra III: The Alien Wars / Super Probotector with a few twists and turns! Absolut fantastic 2D Sprites and 2D Pixel Backgrounds. You can upgrade every weapon one time... like the Spread Gun - you gotta love that!!! It is difficult, as those old games were back then, but the controls are very smooth so you can handle all those enemies very well! There is only one Developer, but its a fully fetched out game!!! So proper respect and thanks for the key! I definitely recommend this one! (Big Time for all Retro Fans out there!)
Got the chance to play this at Game City and apparently I was the only person there who played through the entire game lol. Got the Steam Key for that :D This is really good Run n Gun game with lots of variety. Stages are pretty long but keep introducing new gimmicks to keep you entertained. There are many references to 80s and 90s games like Metroid, Gradius, Battletoads, Metal Slug and obviously Contra. The controls are simple and effective. Weapon switching takes a bit of time to get used to but it adds some depth which I like. It also took me a while to notice that the dash makes you invincible (which can make you feel a bit overpowered once you figure it out) Would be cool if there was some sort of highscore system or time attack mode to add more replayability. My only complaint is that I dont like the motorcycle stage as much as the other stages but thats about it, great game!
Generally a good Contra-Clone with some neat new ideas. My biggest complained is the jittery main character, depending what resolution/framerate you play it becomes worse. Some enemies and bosses are too spongy.
