Awesome run and gun game! It can be pretty challenging but it is doable once you get the hang of it. Recommended.

Good music and art. I like the enemies and weapons. I eagerly await the 2 player mode and so I'll be able to play with my friend. Easily as good as Iron Meat and Blazing Chrome and it's a better game than Wayforward's Contra Galuga.

Very good gameplay and incredible sound design. I like the level design. Even though I’m not good at games like this, I really enjoy it.

If you liked Contra/Probotector, you’ll definitely enjoy Gundroid. It’s a perfect fit for the steam deck <3 A lot of love clearly went into the design and animations, the stage intro sequences, I find, are just one particularly cute example. I’ve already spent 13 hours on this game and only managed to beat it on the easiest settings. If you enjoy tough run-and-gun action, Gundroid is absolutely worth the time and money. (Disclaimer: a friend gifted me this game, otherwise I might have missed this gem :)

Classic 2D Action Shoot'em up. Love how smooth the gameplay and control is. Also great music and artstyle.
