Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Cultivate a balcony garden in this cozy, witchy, semi-idle sim where life and death are both parts of growth! Leave the game running as a vibey companion in the background, or step in for more in-depth gameplay. Steal a moment to balance water and fertilizer, ward off pests, learn spells and brew potions, and explore the narrative at your own pace.
Step into the shoes of a young necromancer tending their late grandmother’s garden. Not blessed with her green thumb, they must rely on necromancy to bring plants back to undead life and tend the spectral flowers.
Grow into the Greenhearth community as you grow your garden, getting to know your neighbours and your grandmother’s familiar spirit, Compostifer. Uncover a heartfelt narrative from the BAFTA-nominated writer of I Was a Teenage Exocolonist all about community, grief, early adulthood, and the natural cycles of life.

Care for your garden — nurture living and undead plants to make a balcony oasis uniquely your own.
Cast powerful spells — resurrect withered plants, speed growth, repel pests, and even alter plant traits with necromantic energy.
Embrace the cycle of life and undeath — bring dead plants back to (un)life and discover special traits and yields unlocked through transformation.
Redefine failure — every shrivelled leaf is just the start of another journey!
Find your place in the community — befriend your neighbours, piece together your grandmother’s magical research, and uncover a deeper narrative.
Idle, stress-free play — let the game run while you work or study, and return when you’re ready for meaningful bursts of care.
Set the vibe — choose from lofi beats to calm ambience to productivity drum and bass, or relax to the peaceful sounds of your garden.

Content Warning: Greenhearth Necromancer features themes and mechanics of death, loss, and grief, including terminal illness and the death of loved ones. The protagonist must also navigate social anxieties, including awkward and occasionally adversarial scenes with other characters who live in the same building. We have striven to handle these topics delicately, thoughtfully, and with compassion, however, they are interwoven into the narrative, integral to the protagonist's journey, and cannot be avoided.

such a pleasure to have this idle game open while I'm working! perfect balance of narrative, management, and vibes
so going into this, i thought it was going to be a bit more involved by going what was shown in the trailer. i am a big fan of lore (#LoreWh0re) & this definitely has that. there is a LOT of reading in the very beginning of the game; i'll say a solid hour (this includes doing in game chores) right off the jump. HOWEVER, the story is VERY cute & it does have some personal ties to myself growing up. other than that, its a very cute idler. if you like plants & magic, you'll like this.

Greenhearth Necromancer is a cozy, semi-idle game perfect for those seeking a character-driven story that develops naturally over time. The nature of the semi-idle feature does mean that there is no way to "speed-run" the game or play it perfectly, but that is what makes it such an enjoyable and unique experience. Greenhearth makes you slow down and think about how you want to manage your time and resources both inside and outside the game setting. What you get in return, besides a beautiful garden and supreme cozy vibes (shout out to the radio and sound machine), is a heartwarming story about navigating grief, appreciating cycles, and building community in the face of loss and change. The eclectic cast of characters, each unique in their own ways but perfectly meshing together, are also a welcome treat. You'll find something to appreciate and admire about each of them (even the ones you might find initially standoffish or hard to read). I like to play this while building out my D&D resource library (be sure to check out the DLC if you're interested in some specs for your own TTRPG setting!), in between cleaning spurts, or just in the background while reading/writing/crafting. It's a different pace than I'm used to for sure, but I don't regret picking up a copy in the slightest. The broader community on Steam is also incredibly helpful and kind in my experience. Highly recommend!
Great cozy game. The rhythm of the "focus mode" (the idle mechanic) is ideal for doing 15 minutes of housework, then returning to the game, having some "numbers go up" clicks, and then returning to housework. This really helps my ADHD. I now look forward to evenings that consist of "Greenhearth and Chores". The story is nice. It's not flashy, it's not super dramatic, but it does have me hooked. The only negative I can think of: The non-story card actions quickly get repetitive. I mostly skim or skip them after having seen the same text for the 10th time. But you can always just discard them to gain some resources, so you're not forced to read them.
ohhhh this game is squeezing my heart in the best way. the art is beautiful, the story is beautiful, Compostifer is adorable. I cannot wait to continue playing and get further into this story and these relationships
Relaxing and satisfying. I like the storyline. It's a fun game to play casually while walking on a treadmill or listening to a book.
Este juego es una flor de cagada
For a game that's supposed to keep running in the background, it eats quite a lot of battery. My laptop lasts 1/3 the time when playing it. The demo was also faster paced than this actual game. There was always something to do in the demo. But the game is just idling time away. That said, it reminds me a lot of Fallen London / Echo Bazaar. If you enjoyed that web-browser game, you'll enjoy this one too. Edit: 30 hours in, the pace at which I have to water / fertilise / medicate my plants is getting old. These have got to be the most needy and demanding plants in existence, requiring attention every few minutes. Edit: 48 hours in, I'm getting irritated and frustrated by the real-life time-gating (you get 1 honey per day, and the quests require 10 honey + 5 honey + ...). I'm basically logging in to idle for 15 mins a day to collect the honey, and then logging out. By day 15, I've forgotten what the story was about. Don't get me wrong, if you're the kind who plays for half an hour a day, this would still be an excellent game I'd recommend for you. If you're like me and play in bursts however, you should give this game a skip. Yet another edit: 58 hours in, I've discovered that I can harvest more than 1 honey a day by having multiple plants in bloom when playing the bee card. I hope this helps someone.
Absolutely adorable game! Very cozy and relaxing~ if anything, I would just make needs decay a little slower, but I still very much love leaving my little garden for a while and coming back to take care of it again <3
