For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. Content Warning: Greenhearth Necromancer features themes and mechanics of death, loss, and grief, including terminal illness and the death of loved ones. The protagonist must also navigate social anxieties, including awkward and occasionally adversarial scenes with other characters who live in the same building. We have striven to handle these topics delicately, thoughtfully, and with compassion, however, they are interwoven into the narrative, integral to the protagonist's journey, and cannot be avoided.

Reviews
Very cute game both playing and idle mode. The story line is fun as well.
Very fun active idle game--tons of story content, needy plants and a lot of fun with different systems! Really addicting! Enjoyed my time with this one a lot.
A relaxing little game about raising undead plants and getting to know your neighbours. I enjoyed watching the various stories with the other community members play out, both major and minor characters. More plant mechanics get revealed over the course of the game. It felt like there was tension between wanting this to be an idle game (getting more cards and healing faster when left alone but your plants get dried out and sick) and being played actively.

Greenhearth Necromancer is an inventive blend of cozy gardening, magical life simulation, and heartfelt storytelling that transforms the traditional image of necromancy into something surprisingly wholesome. Developed by Silverstring Media Inc. and published by indie.io, the game invites players into the quiet Greenhearth apartment complex, where a simple inheritance from a beloved grandmother becomes the beginning of a magical journey. Instead of focusing on combat or dark fantasy, the experience revolves around cultivating enchanted plants, learning mystical arts, and building meaningful relationships with neighbors, resulting in a relaxing adventure that feels both imaginative and emotionally sincere. The game's biggest strength lies in its refreshing approach to gardening. Players spend their time tending a diverse collection of magical plants by watering them, adjusting their environment, keeping pests away, and ensuring they receive proper care. What truly distinguishes Greenhearth Necromancer from similar simulation titles is its unique interpretation of death. Plants that wither are not simply discarded; through necromancy they can be revived into undead versions with their own appearances, abilities, and uses. This mechanic cleverly reinforces the game's central theme that endings can create new opportunities, making experimentation feel rewarding instead of punishing mistakes. The process of discovering how different plants react to life, death, and magical intervention continually encourages curiosity. Beyond maintaining the garden, players gradually unlock new spells, craft potions, and experiment with magical recipes that expand the possibilities available on the balcony. Progress unfolds naturally as more plant species become available, each introducing new challenges and care requirements. The game avoids overwhelming players with excessive complexity by allowing systems to develop steadily over time, rewarding patience rather than rushing players toward endgame content. There is a genuine sense of satisfaction in watching a once-empty balcony transform into a thriving sanctuary filled with vibrant living flora and fascinating undead botanical creations. The semi-idle design further enhances the relaxing atmosphere. Gardens continue developing while the game quietly runs in the background, allowing players to check in throughout the day without feeling pressured to constantly micromanage every detail. This structure makes Greenhearth Necromancer an excellent companion for those who prefer slower, low-stress experiences that fit comfortably alongside work or study. Active players still have plenty to do when managing resources, experimenting with spells, or caring for more demanding plants, while those seeking a calmer pace can simply enjoy watching their magical garden evolve over time. The narrative provides far more emotional depth than many games within the cozy simulation genre. Rather than serving merely as background flavor, the story explores themes of grief, healing, personal growth, and community through thoughtful interactions with the residents of Greenhearth. Conversations gradually reveal each character's personality, struggles, and aspirations, making the apartment complex feel alive with believable people rather than generic NPCs. The magical familiar left behind by the protagonist's grandmother also serves as an effective guide, connecting the game's supernatural mechanics with its deeply personal story. The writing maintains a warm and optimistic tone while addressing emotional topics with surprising maturity. Artistically, the game delivers a charming presentation that perfectly complements its peaceful gameplay. The hand-crafted visuals feature colorful plants, whimsical magical effects, and cozy environments that make every gardening session pleasant to look at. Subtle environmental details and attractive animations give the balcony a lively personality, while the soothing soundtrack and ambient audio create a calming atmosphere that encourages long play sessions. Together, the audiovisual presentation reinforces the feeling of maintaining a magical sanctuary rather than simply managing another farming simulator. Although Greenhearth Necromancer excels in many areas, its deliberate pacing may not appeal to everyone. Players looking for constant excitement or rapid progression may find the slower rhythm less engaging, particularly during the opening hours when new mechanics unlock gradually. Likewise, despite its semi-idle nature, maintaining an efficient garden still requires occasional attention, meaning it is not a completely hands-off experience. However, these design decisions support the game's focus on mindfulness, routine, and thoughtful progression rather than fast-paced optimization. Greenhearth Necromancer succeeds by combining familiar life simulation mechanics with an original magical premise that feels both creative and emotionally rewarding. Its distinctive gardening systems, imaginative use of necromancy, engaging crafting mechanics, memorable characters, and comforting atmosphere create an experience that stands out within the cozy gaming genre. Players who appreciate relaxing simulations with meaningful storytelling and steady progression will likely find countless hours of enjoyment cultivating their magical garden. It is a thoughtful and refreshing interpretation of both life simulators and fantasy games that proves even necromancy can become an uplifting and comforting adventure. Rating: 9/10
There are a lot of layers of complexity you need to learn in this game, but if it's worthwhile.
Chill and charming. A nice way to pass some time without being too stressed. As someone who has accidentally killed many defenseless houseplants, I feel like this was made for me.
fun premise, devs very helpful with bug fixing and positive
Care for plants and care for yourself. Check in every 20 to 30 minutes or so as a break from whatever you are doing, maybe talk to some neighbors.
I have a lot of very strong feelings about this game and why it is hitting all of the good things for me. The story is great, the characters that you meet are great - but mostly, it's a game that encourages you to slow down and touch grass, even if it is digital (and dead). It's a story about someone grieving and as someone who's become an expert in that feeling - it reminds me of everything I have gone through every time someone in my family dies. The wishes, the stories we tell, the things we eventually come to believe. I haven't felt this way about a story in such a long time and I'm glad that I get to feel now.
