Decades ago, alien visitors warned of an impending black hole destined to tear through the solar system, gifting Earth a chance at survival: the blueprint for a gravity drive capable of interstellar escape. But instead of unity, humanity descended into chaos, using the newfound tech to wage bitter wars.
