Nostalgia done right. The side-scrolling action still holds up, and being able to revisit the classic version instead of the reboot's redesign is a hudge win for longtime fans. Character variety is great, combos feel satisfying, and the anime-style visuals have aged surprisingly well. It's not perfect — server stability and matchmaking can be spotty at times, and newer players might find the learning curve steep compared to modern MMOs. But if you played this back in the day, it's a genuinely well-preserved trip down memory lane, and even newcomers willing to push through the early hours will find a surprisingly deep combat system underneath. Recommended for fans of classic MMOs and anyone chasing that 2000s PC bang nostalgia.

I play this at local server 12 years ago, and i remember playing the classic ver on steam a 1-2 year ago - its was a mess ( when this game-re release on steam ) , but when i comeback and try it again now, i realise they really update the games. ( new character / fixed & buff the old heavy move character like lime, etc ) even tho they still leave the old 90* spine break move on lire basic jop lmao. But yeah - still overall its better, i hope this game can flourish more even tho the dev just milking this game in the name of nonstalgia, but hey i check the new game from same dev its a failure ( couch : kurzpel ), so this time at least Grand Chase will have an change and get some update ( alongside with elsword that i already retire ). they should make new grand chase / elsword game with new tech ( pc of coruse not mobile slop )
legal
