GTA San Andreas – 10/10, no debate.
This game is straight-up the GOAT. Best GTA ever made, and honestly, nothing has topped it for me. The story is a solid 10/10—CJ's journey from coming back to Los Santos to taking over the whole state is legendary. Every mission feels memorable, and the characters are iconic. "Ah ♥♥♥♥, here we go again" became a meme for a reason.
The gameplay is also a 10/10. You can literally do everything: steal cars, fly jets, ride bicycles, gamble, work out, learn martial arts, customize your cars, and even make CJ buff or fat depending on how much you eat. The amount of freedom was absolutely insane for its time.
And don't even get me started on the mods. This game has one of the best modding communities ever. You can turn San Andreas into pretty much any game you want, add new maps, graphics, cars, missions—you name it. It's basically impossible to get bored.
And then there's the multiplayer. SA-MP and MTA were a whole different era. Countless hours of roleplay, races, deathmatches, stunt servers, just simply having fun with random people at 3 AM.
Overall, San Andreas is a masterpiece. Amazing story, amazing gameplay, legendary soundtrack, endless mods, and multiplayer that gave the game a second life. Easy 10/10. Rockstar really cooked with this one, and honestly... they forgot the recipe afterward.
