Most underrated gta game. the most realistic one, best soundtrack, and an overall masterpiece. just needed a few adjustments to make it run properly which didnt long.

The atmosphere of this game is the only thing that carries it nowadays. I understand that this was the first game in the HD universe of GTA and Rockstar was traying new things out. The game was probably pretty revolutionary at the time of the release and im sure that many of you have played it back then (like myself), but it simply isnt good enough to play right now. 1. This point is the most crucial one - the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring. Every single mission is the same, I started going insane while playing through main story line. -Drive all the way across the map in a vechicle that seems to weigh like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tank, watch a cutscene, and? - oh wow, an ambush! What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ surprise! I definetly havent seem the same plot 30 times already! -Now go kill everybody and drive some guy home. Thats the essence of the game for you, nothing ever changes. 2. Alredy touched on this point above but anyways. -The driving is horrendous. It feels like you are driving a dumbell on an ice rink. The only viable vechicles are supercars but most of the times you will be forced to drive some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUV that accelerates like a turtle and cant turn properly. 3. There is absolutley no incentive to earn money. What are you gonna do with hundreds of thousands of dollars? -buy a hotdog and some shoes?! You cant buy cars, you cant buy property, you cant gamble, so whats even the point? They could so many ways to spend money but they didnt. 4. Guns feels like cheap airsoft replicas. The euphoria ragdolls are quite fun but the guns themselves are rather dull. After you get an AK there is no point in using any other weapons. There is also no customisation whatsoever, and im not even talking about some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ skins, although they could add some camos that would break the immersion, but what the definetly couldve added are attachments. Like silencers, scopes, extended mags, underbarrel grenade launchers, etc. 5. There are no cloud saves. I played through half of the game on my steamdeck (thats why it shows 35 hours, even though I spent way over 70 hours) while traveling but wasnt able to continue playing on my pc due to rockstar disabling cloud saves for this game. and whoever designed controlls for helicopters... count your days dude
