Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition

I didn't play GTA IV on release, so I'm not blinded by nostalgia like many seem to be with this game. Frankly, I don't think it's a very good Rockstar game. The shooting is unbelievably clunky, the story is so so, and there isn't that much to do in the open world. That being said, the attention to detail is ridiculous in this game. Liberty city feels like a living, breathing place that exists independently of you, and it is indeed a joy to explore. The only thing is, the only incentive you have to do so is simply your own desire. And for some, that may be enough, but for me, I found that unsatisfying. It is still a great experience, all things considered, but very rough around the edges, and not nearly as fun as its predecessor San Andreas.
