Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A large collection of various editions and sequels in the Gradius/Salamander/Lifeforce franchise. There are leaderboards for each, helpful save/restore/replay tools which make improving your skill at each less of a time-consuming grind than back in the day. Lots of retro-display settings to tweak if you're looking for that old-school CRT look, want some HUD elements showing your shields, lives, etc. Provides a collection of the games' music, including some unreleased/unused variations, and a player for it. However this collection is so large and isn't so easily browse-able by the game it was intended for, that I still haven't found some of my favorites. It would be nice if they could release a normal soundtrack collection on Steam with metadata crediting the artists that allows you to use other media indexers and players of your choice.
the description is kind of misleading. 7 games with all variations for a total of 18 games, when it's actually just 7 games and their localizations with multiple arcade chip updates that either fixed bugs/cheats/glitches/difficulty levels.

Worth the purchase for Salamander 3 alone but you also get the best ports available for all of the other included games (plus a couple of secret ones if you poke around but I'll let you find those yourself). It's a great collection and I hope M2 and Konami keep 'em coming.
whole amount of screen and gamepad options, gadgets to help you keep track of resources in-game, and a whole host of salamander/gradius versions, all neatly packaged. emulation and input latency is great given its M2, and the new salamander plays quite well. as for my thoughts on each game: Gradius: fun little game even if presentation and structure of the game is more dated compared to later entries. provides a solid challenge to 1all Gradius II: my favorite game in the collection. i find it a little easier than the first game, but it's still gives a good fight. i like the little voice lines some of the bosses have. Gradius III: fun game (for the most part) to credit-feed and see what BS you'd have to deal with. i will never 1all this game in my lifetime. the crystal cube stage and the final flesh wall bit is incredibly frustrating. the least good out of the three gradius games but its "okay". Salamander/Life Force: cool games, but tbh i prefer the NES one. stage 4 boss is a lottery and the game kinda falls off in quality after. could probably 1all if lucky. Salamander II: better than 1 by a lot but fairly easy until the final stage. the final stage in particular suffers with bullet visibility issues (enemy missiles are the same sprite as your own but recolored). that bit isnt that fun. Salamander III: the best one, but also the easiest game in the collection by a mile. 1all is so easy kinda wish the second loop was the standard game. even then doing two loops is easy too if you're a competent shmupper. suffers from background visibility issues early on too. best music out of all. as for negatives for the whole package - fullscreen on windows is bugged (?), theres a white border on top of the screen and kills the clarity of the game itself. linux/proton does not have such an issue with this game. - regression of amount of games compared to the previous gradius/salamander collections on psp, also made by M2
I really recommended this game, is bring back my memories.
