Gorble

Once you get the controls down, this game becomes very fun. It is look around with the mouse, and move yourself by holding and releasing left click, that's it, mouse only. Very simple, but hard to master. The boss fight was surprisingly intense. If it were a fully fleshed-out game (it's only 15-20 minutes long), this easily could have been a paid game. The fact that this is free means you have no reason not to check it out.

Limp Bizkit - Rollin'

I love seeing what creativity Game Jams bring out of developers and I also have a soft spot for marble based physics games, so this was right up my alley. Although wildly different games, thematically this reminded me of Odama for the Gamecube, a childhood favorite of mine, so I had to try it. I found it to be pretty easy, there is at the very least 5 heals located in the game, which also improve your defence at the same time. That said, I'm fairly confident that even without the healing I would have survived the game with some health remaining. This ease of difficulty doesn't leave for much replay value, but the one run it does provide is definitely enjoyable. The final boss fight was pretty fun, I really enjoy how the air combat is implemented and the dungeon was also well designed and provided some enjoyable exploration. I wish there was a bit more interactivity with the environment, but for a game solely focused on combat through marble rolling, it pulls off the concept exceedingly well. My one major complaint is that my hand hurt like hell after playing this since it requires nonstop mouse button holding, but that can probably also be chopped up to me being unc and applying caveman levels of aggression to my left mouse button. Unga bunga.
