Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Golden Escape is a thrilling journey of survival, combat, and fortune—where players chase the elusive Gold Coins in a world filled with chaos. Venture into mysterious dungeons, battle hordes of monsters, and collect powerful Stones and skills to build your own path to victory. Luck is unpredictable, but that uncertainty is what sparks true miracles.
One coin can change everything.
A Gold Coin is more than simple currency—it holds the power of chance itself. No one knows what skill will emerge when you claim it, but the moment luck and strategy align, the magic of the Gold Coin explodes into action.
Surrounded by countless monsters? Don’t back down.
With fierce combos and exhilarating impact, fight through waves of enemies and carve your way to survival. The intuitive controls and fast-paced action make every battle a true test of skill and reflex.
True strength begins with Red Stones and Blue Stones.
These Stones are the key to enhancing your skills and unlocking new abilities. Collect and combine them strategically to craft your unique combat style. Every combination reshapes the way you fight, offering endless tactical possibilities.
Some places are deadlier than any monster—the Puzzle Zones.
One wrong move can end everything. In these perilous spaces, precise control and calm decision-making are the keys to survival. Each region introduces new puzzles and traps that test both your mind and reflexes as you fight for escape.
Even amid the chaos of battle, the world remains soothing to the eye.
The soft, vibrant look of cartoon-style rendering creates a unique atmosphere where tension and tranquility coexist. Experience a world both ruined and beautiful—a world of light and gold waiting to be reclaimed.
In a place where despair repeats endlessly, only one goal remains—Golden Escape.
Can you reach the final door and claim your golden freedom?
Reviews
Took a leap of faith on this one with zero reviews and zero Youtube videos (until I just uploaded one, linked below) and thankfully it paid off. It's not a great game but it's a solid bargain bin entry and pretty much exactly what I expected: mediocre hack & slash combat mixed with puzzle-platforming and exploration/treasure hunting. 6 levels plus a tutorial, persistent skill upgrades and special attacks, hidden areas, treasure chests; you know the deal. The combat of course follows the basics of Dark Souls in this Dark Souls world -- you've got a slash, a jumping roll-dodge, and a counter parry attack. If you're patient enough you can just keep rolling and rolling and rarely get hit, but it's the same in most games of this type. I think the window for the counter parry attack is very small because I can rarely seem to pull it off without taking damage. Controls equally well with KB/M or controller, with 360 degree camera control on either the mouse or right stick. The levels seem to be of decent size given how long it took me to complete level 1 (~45 min). Not a hidden gem or anything but definitely worth the pickup if you like this style of game and see it on sale. [Note: The game starts in Korean.
